I’ve finally found them… the best ice cube trays! I love these trays. They don’t spill over when transferring into the freezer unlike other trays I have. Love the shape and size of the ice too. Super easy to get them out with the silicone molding. Only thing is that they take a while to freeze but what do you expect, they are large ice cubes! Highly highly recommend. The lid does not secure on the top of the tray, just lays on top to keep the cubes uniform. Does make nice ice cubes. Haven't used a silicone tray before and it works well.

At first, this product was amazing. Perfect ice cubes at just the right size. The lid doesn’t clip on or anything so I figured it would be a problem but it’s actually worked fine. It is a silicon tray so you can’t actually rest anything on it. That’s not the major downside - it smells terrible after a few weeks. If it were just the smell I probably wouldn’t mind, but the smell transfers onto the ice cubes. So much so that if you use those ice cubes in your water, it actually flavors the water! It makes your water taste like gasoline. Now, I’ve heard that this is just a common problem with silicon ice trays and that you just have to bake them in the oven. Now this does work, but be careful. The inside metal frame inside the ice tray gets HOT. Also, I feel like the time in between bakes is getting shorter. At first, the tray lasted a month without me having to bake it. Now, I have to bake it every one to two weeks to prevent them transferring the stench to the ice cubes. If you don’t want to deal with this, I’d look for another product. ... show more

I guess if you’re really into ice cold water in your water bottle, this is for you. I thought the resulting ice sticks would be larger. They’re about as big as a boba straw. They’re sturdy yet soft which makes it easy to push the ice cubes up and out of the tray. I like the covers so I can stack them. There is no oily film on the cubes like other silicon trays we’ve tried. We have 3 of these trays and when stacked, they hardly take up any room at all in the freezer.
