Tried many speakers with aux ports. Often, there is a delay either while playing or after a 5 second break in playing. Finally, this W-King D10 has no delay and has stereo sound, so the piano does not sound truncated. I think companies that do not make their speaker stereo are trying to coerce you into buying two of them to pair together. This company kindly makes it stereo and then I was willing to buy two anyway! Go figure. Much better marketing to give a customer what he needs and wants instead of baiting him. Great power with these two speakers connected with 1/8 in splitter cable. I settled on the cable that split to two stereo connectors. This gives you two stereo speakers at a louder volume. If you had the two mono connectors, you would have wider stereo but less volume. I'm fine with both of them being separate stereo units and still sounds great with keyboard and piano sounds. Also, the speakers sound really good and are very loud for their size. Sturdy handle and great battery help as well. As you can see in my photo, I've strapped two of them to my keyboard stand so that I can hear myself and my band can hear me as well in rehearsals. Fantastic product! PS. Even the $400 little Bose speaker had bad latency in the 1/8th inch jack, and not nearly the sound quality and volume that was presented at Best buy. I love Sound Core speakers, but everyone I've tried turns off the aux port after 5 seconds of not playing and then you have about a 1 second delay before your sound starts again. Ions with four and five speaker configurations of wide dispersion, for some reason are not stereo. However, the aux ports work great and the one with the microphone input you can turn off the echo! Those are my very favorite mono speakers to date! If I needed a mono speaker, that would be the one!.. The ones with four and five speakers that is.     • Absolute no-brainer, buy two of them.
I purchased two of these a few months ago to use in my workshop - I cannot possibly rave about them enough. For comparison's sake, I also own a JBL Boombox 2, which I love. The D-10 keeps up with the Boombox on volume and connectivity without effort or noticable difference. True parallels. At times, I wish the D-10 had more EQ options, but that's a very, very minor complaint. You genuinely get 95% of the sound capability, for 20% of the price. Buy two and pair them together, you get 190% of the cound, for only 40% the price of a single JBL Boombox. It's an absolute no-brainer. Build quality is high, volume is obscene for something so small, everything feels very well built, and both of my D-10's have survived a couple of tumbles already. The ability to pair both of them together for stereo sound, genuinely the most underrated feature. It absolutely changes the game with portable speakers, especially not having to download a separate app to do it. 10/10. I have not tried the microphone function, and never will. I also find the LED lights to be unnecessary and a bit tacky - but they easily turn off with the touch of a button. (Still, I wish the speaker remembered that I turned them off, so I didn't have to hit the button every time I power up. Super minor complaint; but odd that it remembers it's last volume setting between uses; but not the LED on/off state.) Literally my only complaint, and it isn't even a real complaint. Of note, I have never experienced so much bass response from a portable Bluetooth speaker, aside from my JBL Boombox, and these D-10's. Especially in an enclosed room, it's pretty damn impressive. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! After about a month of use, the end cap (which is basically a crash bumper) of one D-10 detached from the speaker and would not stay on again. Upon close examination of the snapping mechanism that attaches it, it seems that either the plastic injection molding machine failed to properly form a couple of the plastic clasps, or there may have been some damage in shipping. This end cap was loose out of the box, but I paid no real attention to it at first. I reached out to W-King's support email address to see if they would ship me a new end cap - and instead they SHIPPED ME AN ENTIRELY NEW UNIT as a replacement! They were so polite and pleasant, I almost felt bad about even bothering them with the problem! Absolute 10/10 customer service experience. The new unit is solid and I believe my original problem was a random fluke. In summary, these D-10'S give you an insane amount of bang for your buck. You can't beat the value, the quality and performance is beyond impressive, the customer service department absolutely backs what they're selling. I could not be happier. Especially for outdoor or workplace use - these things are the perfect combination of loud, long battery life, water resistant, and cheap enough that most people wouldn't lose a night's sleep over one being stolen or damaged somehow. (Compare that to $550 JBL units.) Don't just buy one, buy two. And then buy two more, because your friends are all going to ask you where you got the awesome Bluetooth speakers, and they make great birthday gifts.
