Although I have no experience in wrapping parts this material is fairly easy to work with. Once you heat it up it immediately shrinks into the piece making it look like paint. It takes practice to know how to wrap around corners and edges but it's a large roll so you can bear mistakes. Looks just like carbon fibre with a cool design. First time using a wrap. With the right tools (heat gun, sharp razor blade and squeegee) and enough patience anyone can do it. Can’t compare with other wraps but it worked well for me!

Love this stuff. It's easy to work with, adheres well, and shrinks to fit. Be sure to have a heat gun or maybe even a hair dryer would work. It works good on flat surfaces but not so well on inner or outer curves. It doesn't stick in the inert most part of the curve. I had trouble getting wrinkles out on outer curves but maybe it was my method. Overall ir has a great look and texture. Make sure to leave extra material on edges as not to have to stretch it on a rounded edge. And don't rush it or apply too much heat, it will melt. 750 is hot enough. Bought 2 rolls, the color was different between the rolls also the pattern direction. One had the printing on the backer horizontal and other was vertical. One roll was shrunk wrap like it was packaged for individual sale, other looked to be possibly cut from a larger roll and only had a piece of masking tape on it.have already wrapped half of my dash before I opened the other roll. I’m going to reach out to Vvivid and see what they say. I will update this as it progresses. On a side note the 3m DiNoc Carbon does look a bit better pattern wise, but the roll I got of the 3m has a paper backer, so when you unroll or flatten it, it separates from the paper, the vvivid doesn’t do that. As far as the fil itself goes the vvivid film is very nice and well made. When using these thicker films save yourself some headaches and get some 3m 94 primer and properly coat any sharp edges and plastic parts. ... show more
