  • At 4.3mils in thickness, the film will stretch and conform to any shape and thick enough that discoloration, stretch marks and other visible defects when wrapping and driving are kept to a minimum.
  • This product has built in VViViD Air Release, VViViD Resist, and VViViD Heat Fuse technologies to support the DIY'ers and the professional look of the completed quality. See the product description below for the details about these technologies.
  • Application: Dry. Adhesive : Solvent-based, repositionable, permanent adhesive. Life: This vinyl is expected to easily last 5-7 years outdoors.
  • This Vinyl can be installed using 3M 94 Primer and 3M Edge sealer, these are not mandatory, these products will promote adhesion and add life to your vinyl. The sealer or primer will not remove the glue, deform the vinyl or ruin the texture unlike cheaper quality films. Please note that due to specific procedures in hand-rolling and hand-cutting our vinyl wrap product, a 1 inch discrepancy may occur.

I've never worked with vinyl before and I was using this to cover clear coat that was deteriorating rapidly. I pressure washed and sanded to the adhered stuff and then cleaned up the surface with alcohol. This stuff is tough. Creased, wrinkled, sticky side to sticky side... A bit of heat and it is perfect again. A BIT OF HEAT. I did have one spot where I wasn't paying attention and it burned. Ended up covering that spot with some go-fast stickers rather than redoing the whole roof... That being said, the adherence was great, even after having my sweaty arm under the adhesive many times. The final finish was great despite the rough clear coat underneath and probably some inevitable debris if you aren't working in a clean area. Once waxed, it looked pretty darn good. Easily worth the cost. I will say it is amazing to apply when you get the hang of it and it's durable and resistant enough for you to not destroy it while you are figuring it out. It would be nice if there was better guidance or instructions from VViViD, but I found plenty of YouTube videos explaining the process. ... show more

I didn't realize it when I was cutting this stuff but it has a thin clear coating on it. When I went to layer another cover over it, the second layer wouldn't stick to it. I peeled it back up and found the clear layer. I had to go back to all the white I'd already put down and peel that top layer off. Other than that, it's good so far. ... show more

I ordered one roll I had giant yellow spots in the middle of it trying to do a roof on my van this damn thing sticks to everything impossible to install ordered another roll because the first roll tore in the yellow spot second roll shows up and it's more f***** up than the first one I'm going to try to get some triple s and try to install it but this particular vendor particular roll both pieces that I got were off the same roll that's obvious and it's old and yellowed in some places. And useless. Life is hard we don't need extra s*** to make it worse like a old roll of vinyl. Vivid will no Help you with Amazon ordered issues. So are they selling vivid vinyl seconds? ... show more

The quality is good and as I read before... this vinyl is very forgiving... not as easy as it looks but doable with another person and def recommend not doing it in anything hotter than 85 degrees...

Good thing I only need a small piece of this stuff. You can see in the photos the swirly looking gray blemishes that came with it. If I were trying to wrap a whole car, I’d be pretty upset. I just needed to cover the bottom part of one of my doors, and I needed it to match my paint color which it did very well. ... show more

Little back story I wrecked my car and didn’t wanna pay for a paint Job.. this Item is awesome I definitely have never wrapped a car before had a lot of help and there definitely is some small imperfections, but this stuff is strong and is pretty easy to work with.
