  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Quality Product. Small Colorway Issue.
Size: 10ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Nardo Grey
Good Product. Ordered in Nardo Gray. Having the plastic cap on it was nice to protect the surface of the vinyl during install. Reasonable delivery time and well priced. I did have several spots on my 5'x10' roll though where straight out of the package, the gray under the plastic cap had browned/discolored. I had yet to install or apply any heat to the product. Had to work my project around those spots so ended up having a bit more scrap/unusable product. Overall still satisfied but would like to suggest a bit better quality control. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Great light blocker
Size: 6ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Black
I wanted something that blocked light from coming through the windows that are for the children's bunks in my camper. I looked at tints but they don't block visibility into the camper from outside if there are lights on in the camper. I also thought of using cardboard or some sort of "whole-window" covering but then the windows couldn't be opened and allow airflow. This vinyl wrap was the perfect choice of both worlds. Blocked light AND allowed the windows to open AND it's not permanent. This stuff is sticky but not too sticky. If I made a bubble, it was easy to peel it back, fix the bubble and then press it back on again. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars Learning curve
Size: 6ft x 5ft Color: Matte Miami Teal
Only giving 4 stars. This was my first time using vivid wrap, I have always used 3m. Some of the wrap was damaged when a received it, only the outer one or two layers of the roll, but still frustrating. I ordered 3 rolls, two of the Miami teal, and one matte black to redo some of the matte black already on my car while replacing some with teal. I thought I was ordering the gloss teal, however I got the matte teal. I went back and looked and it says I ordered the matte, even though I remember clicking the gloss teal. Kind of bummed and not sure how that happened, but it is what it is. The Miami teal is much harder to work with than the matte black as it’s thicker. It’s also harder to work with than the 3m wraps because it’s thicker and doesn’t seem to stretch the same. All in all I don’t regret my purchase, however I’ll definitely be keeping these things in mind before ordering wraps again and choosing if I go with vivid or 3m. For the price, it isn’t bad wrap though. Just keep in mind it is harder to work with than 3m wrap, and make sure you have a good heat gun to help with stretching and molding the wrap to the car without air pockets/bubbles. I will also say so far it has seemed to hold up well, however it hasn’t even been a month yet either so time will tell. The matte black also has more of a gray appearance than the 3m matte black. So you can tell if you previously had 3m on your car and planned to use vivid to replace a few panels of the wrap. Also for note, the 3m wrap on my car lasted over 10 years with minimal issues (ex husband backed into a pole with my car and damaged the wrap in a few spots). So I have pretty high standards for wrap. Also don’t forget to order the 3m vinyl wrap edge tape if you want the wrap to stay on and last without peeling off! I didn’t see any for sale by vivid on here so I went with 3m again on that. Again, still not bad for the price even if it only ends up lasting a year or two. (Will update if I have issues with the wrap later). If you’ve never wrapped a car before, make sure you have the right tools too, it will make all the difference in how your wrap job turns out. I felt the need to write this review because my shop had only ever worked with 3m wrap, but since I’m currently home pregnant, I decided to look at other options to redo my car at home by myself. Also- heads up! Matte Miami teal, has sparkles in it. Which I think is odd since it’s a matte wrap. Picture is of my car after wrapping the hood with matte Miami teal (yes it needs washed badly) the sparkles in the matte make it look funky and almost a different color. ... show more

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars The closest shade of green to what aI needed.
Size: 1ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Viper Lime Green
I really like the Vvivid wraps. I've done several cars and my truck. Panels, wheels, some interior parts. I bought this to cut into 3" wide strips to make a stripe kit for my wifes car. She's loves the old tomato green that came on the Dodge Challengers in the early 70s. This Viper green is close. Stripe job came out pretty good. She loves it. Only drawback to this stuff is in my previous review on the gunmetal color I got for my truck. Compound curves are extremely difficult to do clean with this vinyl. It does not form easily to those surfaces without leaving lots of wrinkles. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars 1st time wrapping, went great, 50ft roll for Jeep Wrangler
Size: 50ft x 5ft Color: Gloss Muscular Magenta
FIRST: I was very worried about the color especially because pictures on amazon were lacking. The color is different in different lighting, as all colors are, but in natural or bright light it is that glam hot pink we wanted! It does come across as darker magenta in poor light but we also have custom hot pink seats in our car and in low light people always call them red, that is just how pink looks in low light. Look at the difference between the door being wrapped on my kitchen table vs outside by the waterfall, big difference. First time wrapping. Did it with my wife. Im very skilled DIY and she is not so much but likes to partake in everything - that being said, I was able to handle the material and figure it out. She couldn't figure it out even after days of working with it. My point being is that wrapping in general actually takes some skill. I even struggled through most of this project but was able to correct most of my mistakes. Couple of notes.. 1) this was my first time wrapping anything so it was a huge undertaking and did not realize how technical some of the tougher part would be. 2) If you stretch the material with heat, it is very difficult as a beginner to get the material to be predicable after that. After about 40 hours of working on this project i was able to more freely use the heat gun without shooting myself in the foot. 3) The adhesive is pretty awesome but there are definitely a few places where i felt like i had to really melt the material to get it to stick, but it was the same level of adhesion that was very forgiving when I was correcting my own mistakes 4) I watched about 15 hours of instructional videos before I did this. As far as the final finish, its incredible and turns heads everywhere we go. ... show more

  • 5.0 out of 5 stars Very forgiving
Size: 1ft x 5ft Color: Matte Black
First attempt at wrapping so nothing to compare, but this product is friendly. I am amazed how with a little heat creases and stretch lines disappear. Go for it the stuff wants to go on! Couldn’t be happier with results!

Size: 1/2ft x 5ft Color: Matte Suzuka Ice Grey
Adhesion sucks. Takes some work to make it stick. Better have some experience to use this material.
