VViViD Vinyls’ revolutionary Ultra Matte films lend your car an almost glass- smooth finish that, until now, has only been attainable by having your vehicles panels stripped and re-painted at great expense. For a fraction of the time and cost, Ultra Matte vinyl will make your vehicle look like it just rolled off the assembly line! In our constant efforts to refine our films, VViViD’s engineers have created new technologies specifically for the Ultra Matte range. These include our Nano air-release pattern, which ensures the sleekest, most refined finish available with today’s vinyl wrapping technology. Conventional vinyl wraps can look good when properly installed, but if you want to turn heads, VViViD’s Ultra Matte line takes it to the next level. Installation tips: 1. Due to the dramatic increase in finish clarity, any imperfections in the surface to which this film is being applied will show through exponentially. Therefor it is recommended to take extra care to thoroughly clean and prepare the surfaces beforehand. Although not necessary for the integrity of the wrap, using clay bars would be a great precaution for added surface clarity. 2. The nano Air-release is there to enhance the finish of the product, however it may be harder to remove trapped air on large surfaces. Therefore, it is best to apply the film gradually, whilst holding excess material off the surface.

I can't wait to add photos. This stuff is amazing and we have used numerous colors. Top notch quality and makes me look closer to the pro side of the scale than the amateur! My favorite thing a out this though is this emerald color. It's even more gorgeous in person!

The vinyl arrived with a deep scratch on the outer face. This was not a big deal since it was an inch or so from the starting edge. The major problem was the quality of the adhesive. I have used this brand before in the matte teal/sea foam color. The product I'm reviewing (dark matte green) had edges that did not want to stay applied to the surface, as well as areas that were not near an edge. Given that I had no issue with the teal vinyl (using the exact same techniques), it was easy to narrow the issue down to adhesive. Spend a little more money and get a 3m product. If I could return it to get my money back I would. Luckily I went a different route and painted the motorcycle instead. ... show more

This film is very forgiving. Heat let it go back to origin state and try again. Is my car perfect, no! But it’s so much better than the clear coat that turned white and looked horrible. Highly recommended. If I can do you can, have patients with the material and yourself.

I absolutely love the product, don’t get me wrong. It’s a great color, the pictures don’t do it justice. The vinyl is also great quality and thick. It was very easy to apply, I have never wrapped anything before. My issue was opening the package and seeing the tape across it! Like what!? You can’t use a rubber band? lol. You can’t take the tape off of the vinyl without it leaving residue and it essentially wastes the first four inches of the product. I measured my items and bought a specific size. I didn’t think I would have to take into consideration the first part of the wrap being ruined by tape adhesive. ... show more

Some of these vinyl wraps. The color they have just does not look good. This is one ugly metallic green hunter green. Whatever it is it doesn't look anything like the picture.
