  • Surprisingly adhesive. Works wonderful
Size: 1ft x 5ft
I was a little skeptical on how this would stay on, but so far it has been magnificent. Just remember to use the heat like a hairdryer or a heat gun after application to make sure it really sticks because because it hasn’t come off in four months.

  • Easy to work with & good quality
Size: 1ft x 5ft
I continue to practice wrapping parts of the car to learn how to get it correct. Wrapped the larger portion of the rear spoiler on our Outback Wilderness. This was easy to shape and fit to the contours. Only issue I had was with the edges and that is really my fault. Going to try the cut tape next time to get a cleaner edge. This is a good value if you want to practice and it seems to be holding up well so far ... show more

  • Best of many challenging options.
Size: 10ft x 5ft
Very easy to install on a flat surface in a cool room. But! You might need to install this outside (we don't have a garage) or under warmer conditions (hey, you only get the time you get) or on a highly curved surface (like... parts of many car panels). And it's hard. The videos make it look easier than it is. I'm handy, and it's still tough. A couple hours to do the hood, and there are imperfections that annoy me. When it gets warm, it gets too sticky, and then it's hard to adjust and get air bubbles out. If you need to wrap onto contours, it will want to wrinkle. It's very challenging to get it to lay flat. Sometimes, for large enough contours, it just cannot stretch enough to lay on the surface. Getting the edges right is tough. The material will contract slightly when heated, or recoil slightly from the stretching you needed to do to get it into place, revealing the material underneath. It's tough to cut it evenly, and *not* to scratch the surfaces underneath. It's tough to heat up the material enough to get the stretch you need without overheating it. In the videos people use blow torches, but this is very tricky. The best tool for us, in the end, was just a hair dryer. The end result in our case was that most sections of the material look awesome, maybe 99.9%. But that last 0.1% is noticeable if you're looking for it: little wrinkles in a couple contoured spots, little exposed edges near difficult-to-cut spots, and some places where the matte has relaxed into more of a shiny finish in overheated spots. If you realllly want to change the color of a panel of your car, and you don't want to pay a professional or make it permanent, then this is probably the best option. Just get ready for several hours of frustrating work and an imperfect finish. ... show more

  • Better than 3m
Size: 1ft x 5ft
Initially I ordered 3m vinyl for this project. It was poorly packaged and damaged so had to scrap the first 5” and ran out of material because of it. On the other hand the VViViD was carefully packaged with overwrap and on a core. This product quality is 3 steps above 3m. It is thicker and easier to work with. When pressing out any bubbles it works well…..the 3m wrinkled and tore. Looks to be a much superior product from what I can see. ... show more

  • It's ok
Size: 25ft x 5ft
I'll say the wrap works. It does the job. For the price compared to 3m or Avery. I can't really describe the cost/quality aspect of it. They claim to cater to the DIY market. That's very debatable seeing how I can't recommend this for a novice. It has too many application similarities to standard vinyl. In the likes of maneuverability on contact. Top notch products allow you to do most surfaces by yourself. With the ability to reposition it once laid down. Once this stuff hits a clean surface.. Good luck. So if you're doing any panel of decent size or with contour. You better have some help or you'll be destroying it as your madly ripping it off yelling I SHOULD OF JUST GOT THE BEST STUFF. if your working diy and small pieces with easy lay down. This is great. It's thick. It's durable and holds it's color nice. It reacts to heat a little unusual. And it seems to pull back even with a slight stretch. Into crevices. I'm which there are times you have no choice but to stretch it some. For the cost compared to 3m I guess I have no big problems. Seeing as you get what you pay for. If it's a big project and you're a novice. And you don't wanna mess it up cause you can't buy more? Maybe save a little more and go with a better brand. If your doing small stuff and want the same appearance. Go with this. I'm trying not to come across as bashing this stuff. It does work. But I believe they need to stop advertising it's for the DIY or pushing it as for the novice. Cause that it is not. ... show more

  • Used when paint was peeling off my Thinkpad
Size: 1ft x 5ft
The paint was coming off one of my laptops; apparently it is hard to properly paint magnesium alloys, and Lenovo's factories for my model were not up to the job. I scraped off all the paint that was peeling or close to it, cut a piece of this wrap to cover the case of the laptop, and applied it over both the scraped area and the area where there is still paint. It looks fine, and doesn't seem to affect the laptop's internal temperature. I have other laptops which are covered in that horrible rubber soft-touch coating that deteriorates after a few years; this should be good for those as well, though I think all the goop would have to be removed first. ... show more

  • Do not buy! Wrinkles and peels off.
Size: 1ft x 2ft
My A/C vents are gray and during the day when the sun is about right it glares/reflects the vents thru the window exactly where the side mirrors are -on both passenger and driver side. So I decided to buy this wrap and hoping it will help with the glare. Prep and cleaned the surface of the material that I am about to cover. I did use a hair dryer while applying them and I did not really pulled hard and stretch them too much it held on pretty good when I applied them. But after a day or two it started wrinkling and peeling off on the corners. Would not recommend them. ... show more
