This was my first time using a gloss wrap. I've only used an Avery matte wrap once before. I didn't realize that there was a clear layer on top called a cap. Don't make the mistake I did if it's your first time, the cap has to come off before installation. The vinyl wrap is sandwiched between the backing and the cap. I tried installing with the cap, when that proved impossible I consulted YouTube a few more times. Almost no one mentions the cap, so all the tutorials I had watched were not very helpful. It is pretty sticky, so you may want to use a vinyl wrap tack reducer. I didn't and was still able to install this on my chopper. ... show more

It’s a decent calendared vinyl, but not the easiest thing to work with. I used this to wrap my first full car, alone, and it has been… I don’t know… “difficult” isn’t the word. It’s been like trying to paint a house in the dead of Winter with no experience, no gloves, your ladder is covered in ice on every rung and you’re using paint that sat on a clearance shelf for 5 years… And it’s night time. Approximately that difficult. But the vinyl looks fantastic, there are no defects in the entire massive roll and it is very clearly of great quality for what it is. In the future, I would use a cast vinyl, but this was worth the low entry price to start attempting full vehicle wraps. ... show more

This product, and all vvivid is really only meant for application to flat surfaces. It is a calendared film and is extremely hard to conform to complex curves. Calendared films are known for shrinking and failure. The adhesive is overly aggressive as well. Do your research well. Working work this as my first car wrap was an absolute nightmare. If wrapping a car is your goal spend the money on something like Avery or 3m otherwise you will regret it like me. I am now purchasing Avery, a cast film, to fix this mess.. ... show more
