Update: Two weeks with case. The left side of the cover screen case bends inward, making the cover screen more difficult to use. Taking off the front case reveals scratches on the cover screen protector. Someone pointed that out in a different VRS case. It may not scratch the glass itself, but I'd advise not taking chances. Someone also pointed out my review, and while I understand that no case is perfect, and this does fit decent (keyword: decent), it's still off. I was never concerned with the phone shape, I always knew of the "triangle" and the gap. I don't mind the gap. It's the case that I'm bummed about. Closed or open, it doesn't fit well and isn't symmetrical. Edges do not line up, it looks like it's lifting off, even with the double-sided tape. They posted pictures as well, and I notice the asymmetries with their case fitting, the same flaws like mine. Sides don't line up in center when unfolded, and left side is bent inward on cover display. I ordered a different case and have to wait until October. I'm happy that reviewer read my review and criticized it, and while no case is perfect, this one is far from it. If there is an updated fitting, I'll try it again. --- Original: I love the case design, but the case needs to work before I can use it. If it works, I can love it. I can't because it isn't working properly. The half of the case that goes over the cover screen seems out of it. It can't fit over the Fold properly. I included images to help visualize the issue. To me, this case seemed rushed so it could go into Z Fold3 users' hands right away. Issue: The half of the case that goes over the cover screen. The edges can't go on the Fold properly, so it looks completely cheap. I "modded" the other side, and it seems mostly fine. But there is also edge lifting toward the end of the bottom edge: at the hinge. This is a glaring issue. Issue 2: At least add a mesh to guard against dust where the heat dissipates via design. It's just bad practice to leave open holes. Especially on a phone with NO dust resistance. I like the case design. I like the heat vents, I even used thin graphite pads and a green mesh to help my Fold cool itself. But the case doesn't fit well. If one side doesn't work, the whole thing doesn't work right. ... show more

    • Blocks top microphone on front panel.

I just had to return this case. Multiple times while using speakerphone I kept getting this extreme echo and feedback during the call. Upon further inspection the top circular microphone cut out for the front panel roughly 3 mm to the left of the actual microphone. Overall the design of the case is pretty good. Seems very protective however blocking one of the microphone ports is unacceptable. I did remove and reinstall the case with the additional adhesive straps provided just to ensure it was seated correctly and that was not the problem. I've since just purchased a tech21 Evo tint case which is slimmer even more protect and most importantly all of the cut outs line up perfectly. Microphone holes dead center of every cut out as well as speaker grills. Also much easier to access the fingerprint censor as it's not excessively bulky around that area. The last thing to consider even if the microphone cut out aligned is that the front bezel to protect the outer display is ridicously tall. 4+ mm of clearance from bezel to the screen. This affects two aspects of the phone negatively. If you use swipe gestures as I do to use your full screen instead of the navigation bar even with the sensitivity set to the highest I still had to grab more than once to go back to frequently. Also when using flex mode to watch any media the way the phone is designed its ideal for it to be folded so the external display is face down so that the speakers are firing against the flat surface your phone is sitting on providing more directional and louder audio without having to max it out. Also since the bevel is so tall it throws off the center gravity of using the phone in flex mode. It basically needs to be folded right at a 90 degree angle. Anything past that and it starts to tip over backwards because the center mass is lifted so much because of the overly tall front bumper. I hope this is helpful to some people considering this case. At first I thought it was great and was willing to deal with having to do gestures multie time to protect my phone and not being able to angle the phone further back during flex mode. However finding out a couple of days later that my microphone was also completely blocked due to it being cut in the wrong space was the last straw. ... show more
