Setup is not too difficult. Just need to grab the .PPD from the manufacturer and install it. They offer a .deb for Ubuntu that does the installation for you. Once you have the drivers installed you can use LibeOffice/OpenOffice and set your page size to match the labels you want to use and start designing your label. (File -> New -> Label) If you want to get fancy you can create a template and start generating labels from a spreadsheet or database. This is so good if you have any amount of shipping you do. It is totally worth it and prints out shipping labels very quickly as well as other small labels. I even print out small circular 2"x2" labels for some products I make. I have had this for about 7 months now and it still works great. One of my favorite things about this printer is that you don't need any ink whatsoever! Just thermal labels. My only complaint is that the print head gets dirty pretty quickly and the result is that your print quality degrades, it is easily fixed however with a paper towel and some IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) ... show more

I AM OBSESSED! The only bad thing is i found this printer only to work with mac computers. So if you don’t have a mac save your money and look for another option. I sell on depop and this printer works amazing for the shipping labels!!

To be honest setup takes its time(I have a Mac) having to go step by step is a drag but worth every penny I save! I took almost an hour to print a label and for a moment I thought I had a product from a bad batch but was WRONG! I feel dumb but the main reason my labels kept printing black was because the sticker was placed wrong! HOPE I HELP SOMEONE THAT IS HAVING SAME ISSUE! Once I placed the label the RIGHT side it printed out at the 1st try!nMake sure sticker is right side up! Overall can't wait to use this product to its full extend for my online shop! ... show more

Overall great product. Installation is not hard if you have any experience with a computer, and there is a step by step video. I thought mine wasn't working and after 30 minutes of troubleshooting, I realized I had my labels in upside down. The only thing that is strange is that there is duplicate printers in devices now. One with factory name and one with the name I gave it. But both work to print so Its not a huge issue ... show more

Won’t print labels. Keeps defaulting to 4x6. Also during setup I got message that printer can’t to change computer settings & disable firewall….no thanks.
