This controller isn't as responsive as my brand-name ones, but I wanted a hard wired controller since my laptop seemed to be losing connection to the ones that use a USB wire. I will say, the controls feel a little sticky on this one. We'll see if they get better in time. If you're a casual gamer, this is a solid option. If you need a controller with hair-trigger precision, you will want to pass on this one and go for something a little more expensive. ... show more

I needed an Xbox 360 controller for an old PC running Windows 7. This third-party controller was cheap and had decent reviews, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I've used it for about 100 hours and I'm pretty happy with it. It feels cheaper than an OEM controller, but the build quality seems decent, the buttons/thumbsticks feel tight, and the rumble is strong. Worked out-of-the-box (with vibration) in the following games: - Gears of War - GRID - Rainbow Six: Vegas - Medal of Honor (2010) - Lost Planet (Colonies Edition) - The Force Unleashed - Wanted: Weapons of Fate Also worked with Xenia on Windows 11. Downside: the thumbsticks have a large deadzone. Coupled with how tight they are, this can make it a little hard to aim in certain games. I can't remember if this was an issue with the OEM controller, but the thumbsticks on this controller definitely feel worse than the ones on my Series <S|X> controllers. Not a big deal, but if you're looking for a high-performance controller, this isn't it. It's a cheap replacement for an OEM controller, and it does a great job of being that. ... show more

    • Horrible analog stick range ruins what would be an awesome controller.

My initial impression of these controller was great, but the analog sticks are basically unusable. You'll note that the listing says "Not for fps games" huh? Well thats because they know what is wrong. The analog sticks only use about 1/3 of the travel available - so only moving the stick 1/3 the way to the side is the same as moving it the whole way. Then there is a large dead-zone in each axis, so the actual analog region is very small. The end result is an analog stick that functions like a directional pad! (Think digital mode on playstation 2) This ultimately makes the controller practically, if not actually, unusable for any games that use the analog sticks. I really wanted to love these controllers; they feel great and have excellent fit and finish. If they can fix their analog sticks then this would be my controller of choice on amazon. Unfortunately, the poorly performing analog sticks made me buy different controllers. ... show more
