TL;DR Analog sticks are terrible for games heavily dependent on them. Rest of the controller is great Let me start off with the positives, This controller is a bargain deal and for the price, i'm not sure if you can get much better than this. I was able to plug the controller into my PC and get playing immediately, no setup needed. The controller feels great in my hand, the buttons have a satisfying feeling to press and everything on the controller works. If that were the end of the review, this would be a 5 star review, 10/10. However, After playing just a few minutes of games with this controller, I noticed a massive flaw that makes this controller pretty much unusable outside of very casual gaming. The analog stick input is awful. When playing forza horizon 5, I noticed i'd be trying to turn the car, only to end up going straight,, missing a turn or crashing into walls, I attributed it to not being used to the new controller, but then I played GTA IV, i'd have issues with driving in that game as well, and movement felt.. weird.. I decided there was something definitely wrong here, and so i checked with my old xboxone controller, Smooth sailing and everything was as it should be. So confused, I found a controller checker online and tried to figure out what was up, lo and behold, when doing a circularity test, it finds some deadspots/failure spots in the analog sticks and there it was, the problem. This controller has awful analog sticks because when you tilt them to a certain angle, the input isn't read, this is terrible for most modern games because movement is supposed to be dynamic, not just up down left and right, the whole point of the analog stick is to be able to go in more than just 4 directions. These analog sticks have trouble with providing accurate input for Northwest, Northeast, Southwest and Southeast. Because of that, I can't use this controller for most of the games I play and so now I need to buy another one. Buyers beware, if you need to turn both analog sticks accurately at all 350 degrees, this controller will give you a headache and fight you. My son (11) is into retro gaming, and purchased this aftermarket controller for his original Xbox 360. In 3 months of use, it has worked perfectly with no issues. He says that he cannot tell the difference between this controller and the original one, other than the keys being less "sticky" on this one, as the original one is much older & has been used more.     • "A" Sticky Controller

Really liked to price point and prefer to stay corded to avoid battery replacement/cost so bought 1 of these and it was great for a while - then the "A" button got clicky-louder, then started literally temporarily sticking and being harder to get precise clicks with. Figured I just wore it out - so bought another two - one to replace a second to have "in stock". In about a month, the first new one started with the same pattern, "clicky" than "sticky" - so on the the backup, and that too had the same issue after about the same usage. Tried to clean out with wipes, just in case I was "something I did" (three time) but that did work, but just a little. So... I don't know for a fact the "A" button is the most commonly used, but likely - or its just an odd coincidence that I've been 0-3 on "A" single on of these lasting that long. I will not buy a 4th and would suggest anyone else try another brand first... ... show more
