Hard to set up with blue tooth. I thought you could make calls with it. I worked on this watch for 6 hrs. trying to set it up. Sorry, it was truly not what I was looking for in a smart watch.

I know… smart watches have been around for awhile now. But this is my first foray into the world of smart watches. So, I’m a little bit in awe of this thing! It just amazes me how far technology has come in my lifetime! I walk everyday and don’t really pay too much attention to my steps or my heart rate or anything like that. But having this Vowtop smart watch has made me MUCH more aware of those things. It’s actually kind of cool being able to keep track of them. The watch was fairly easy to set up. After you charge it up and turn it on, for the first time… it presents you with a QR code that will take you to the VeryFit app and allow you to download it. After that, you open it up and enter some information and you’re ready to roll with it. You can keep track of all kinds of health information and have it at the touch of your fingers… literally! I enjoy keeping track of my steps and distance as well as my heart rate. This thing is kind of cool! The instructions are lacking a bit… but it’s not too difficult to figure out what you’re doing. The one thing I would have liked was a different wristband. The rubbery one that comes on the watch makes my wrist sweat a bit. I’ll probably be making myself a leather watch band since I do leather working as a hobby. No big deal… just something to be aware of. If you’ve been wanting to try a smart watch… but don’t want to part with THAT much of your hard earned dollars… this is a pretty good starting point! Worth taking another look at! OH… the battery life seems to be pretty good on it. I can’t say how long it actually lasts because I charge it each night. I picked this up so that I could see who was emailing me and texting without having to pick my phone up while outside working (especially when it is raining out). I use to have an Android smart watch that cost over $300. I was afraid to wear it outside. This I am not. Is it a Galaxy/Pixel/Apple watch? NO definitely not but it does serve as an inexpensive smart watch that gives me exactly what I needed. I have had it constantly for the past 72 hours and I still have 40% battery life left. That is with constant heart rate monitoring on, step counter and three one hour exercise sessions in there. The instructions it comes with are poor but the watch is very intuitive and you can fumble to almost anything. There is help thru the app that is very good. The band is wide an comfortable and the loop that holds the excess band even has a lock so that is does not slip off the band. Granted I have not owned a lot of watches but this is the first I have seen one. A nice feature. I have showered with it on without issues (I do not see why you would but I wanted to test water proof-ness). Sometimes when I flip my wrist to see the time it does not register or takes a second and occasionally it will freeze for 2 seconds while scrolling through the notifications or menu and the screen is not always responsive. Does that bother me for an inexpensive unit, not in the least. I like it so much I purchased another since my wife is now looking at this one. Step counter and heart rate sensors are accurate. While walking on the treadmill I counted steps and the watch was within a few steps. I wear a chest strap heart rate monitor while working out and it also read the same as the watch. Only 4 stars because of the freezing and I have to give them something to strive to. Oh the sleep analysis I thought was great after the first night. It said I had a good night sleep with 90 minutes of rem and 3 hours of deep sleep. I agreed, I felt great that morning. The n came the next morning which it said I slept even better, which I did not feel. The third night is said was better than the previous two by a long shot. I felt like crap that morning. I do not trust this sleep diagnosis software. The app is nice and gives you clear data and charts. Just not something I was looking for. The watch also measure your blood oxygen content and something they call stress level. Not sure what it is measuring to figure that out but the numbers seem to correspond based on my perceived stress level. That is the number is higher when I am stressed and lower when I am not. I have not enable Cyborg Woman (Alexa) as that is not a feature I want to utilize on my watch at this time. ... show more
