This does have a stiffer brush and what seems like a stronger top. The brush seems to scrape off at the top better than other tubes I've used. It still has a bunch of mascara on the tip. If you happen to use the tip you will get a glob of mascara on your lashes or skin. Maybe clean the glop off the tip before applying? We can go to the moon but, we can't make a mascara brush that doesn't glop. The brown is an excellent color. It's a light brown. It works with my coloring. Red hair, green eyes. This product is a true brown color. I wouldn't say it's very thickening but it is very lengthening. Over all it is a good product, no funny smells, just wish it thickened my eyelashes more. This is just one coat and it dries fast

I have very fine blonde eyelashes. This goes on very gently, makes them longer and separated, and my eyelashes seem to be very healthy because of it. It also washes off gently, causing less eyelash loss. I love the color for my redhead complexion. I will be buying this product again and again.
