I own a few types of these battery powered lights, and one thing I really like about this one is the on/off switch on the bottom of the light. When you know you're not using it, you can turn it off and it won't slowly drain the battery. It's really bright and the light is evenly distributed across the bar. It's very good looking and a tad adjustable, though if your picture/painting has a lot of depth you may need something that can reach out over a bit further. The concept is nice, however I found that it doesn't hold a charge for long. And it isn't on for very long when I do use it. I've had it installed for approximately two months, and the remote no longer works. Replacing it with new batteries did nothing.

First, let me say I really like how theses lights look. I also LOVE how easy they are to install. - just screw the plate on to the wall and snap the lights on and your done. Brightness? While others have commented that they are not bright ebough, I found the lighting level to be appropriate...while the battery lasted. THIS IS MY ISSUE and primary reason for my rating. The charge does not last. I found that even on a low setting the battery did last more than 6 to 8 hours. Now this is really an inconvenience if your gonna use these for more than a couple of hours a day. Next issue is that charging these puppies takes almost as long! Okay that may be a slight exaggeration, as it's more like 4 or 5 hours but, MAN, IT SEEMS LIME FOREVER! Finally, it would be really cool of they were bluetooth and I could sync with my lights...instead I have to use the silly remote. Alas, I drilled the holes, and the return period has elapsed so there they are..would I buy again...NO...have I changed them...no, not yet. They look nice, they are just not practical. Who wants to have to bring them down and recharge every couple of days? I'll leave it to you. ... show more
