I will start with the pros of this hat. * the bill of the hat is very sturdy and can be shaped or flattened easily. * the black torn pieces are evenly aligned. * it is light weight and very comfortable to wear. Cons: * As you can see in the photo there is a ridge in the fabric that does not go away when wearing it. * the sides also seem to have extra fabric that bunches up too when wearing it. I will be keeping it and wearing it but not happily. If the ridge would come out of it it would be a possible 5 star review. I've worn baseball caps my whole life, and now that I'm a little older, I have a hard time finding new ones that don't make me look like I'm still trying to be a teenager. I saw this hat, and was immediately drawn to it, for whatever reason, and bought it before I could talk myself out of it. It seems well made, with the exception of the buckles on the side which are just snapped on. I like the way it fits, and I like the style... I just can't decide if it's right for me. Nice hat. Fit my head well. I read a few reviews about there being a crease on the hat. Yes, it is shipped with a crease in the hat. What I did was put the hat on a round "form" and steamed it out. No brainer. Stylish. If you are looking for a winter hat though, look elsewhere. This is not a hat that will keep your head warm in the deep cold. With that said, I like this hat a lot. ... show more

The problem with this cap is the fit, not the size. While the size is fine, the cap is too short top to bottom. The shape of the cap is "sloped," being higher in the back and sloping down to the brim in front. While this is the regular shape of such "newsboy" caps, the cap is too short at the back of the cap, causing a strange and uncomfortable fit. ... show more

Let me start by saying I hate hats but unfortunately at this point in life I kinda need one due to the whole going bald from chemo thing so..hats it is. For the price this hat is well made and the fit is good, even without hair and it is adjustable and the straps fit flat against the hat unlike some. The distressed look is well done and there are no loose seams or stray treads or fraying like on some intentionally roughed up designs. The material is relatively thin which makes it light and cool but probably susceptible to wear over time. The black and red tag with the company named sewn into the seam on top of the hat kinda annoys me and I'll probably try to cut it off at some point but that's the only real complaint The 5 star review is based on the fit, construction and quality of the hat at the price paid of only $12.99. It's a cheap hat but it doesn't look cheap but like I said it's pretty thin but not flimsy. It probably wouldn't hold up in a washing machine though. ... show more

This is a nice cap. It sits on my head well and looks rather good. The brim provides plenty of sun shade but is small and only at the front. The style is surprising nice. It is understated (I don't like showy) but not plain. My girlfriend thinks it looks good. It is certainly comfortable. I like the shade without blocking my view.
