This veil was used for a bridal shower game and for that purpose it is very nice, the clip stayed on strong and the bow is well made in nice fabric, as can be seen in the pictures. The vail is a simple rectangular mesh. Upon removal from the packaging, I noticed that the bow is warm ivory and the veil material is cool white. If you do not want a two-tone look, try another product. The next thing I noticed is the veil has a lot of creases and wrinkles from being scrunched up in its little box. It does not look like it can be ironed (that will probably melt it). I don't know exactly what the "fabric" is, but it is definitely synthetic and oddly spongey- it isn't typical nylon tulle. The bow is in better shape, but also synthetic and the ends got creased in the box as well. Not gonna attempt to iron that either. I may try to hang and steam it. There was some stretchy glue residue on the metal barrette which leads me to believe the whole thing is just hot-glued together; I don't see any wiring or thread attached to the barrette and I'm not going to try to pry it apart to confirm as that could destroy the veil and I need it intact for a non-wedding event. Bottom Line: Do not take this item seriously- it isn't appropriate as real wedding attire, as implied in the listing photos! If you are looking for an inexpensive costume piece, it might fit the bill... if those creases will come out. It really needs to be packaged more neatly and in a larger box. ... show more

The tool veil is wrinkly upon arrival and will need to be steamed before wearing to remove the wrinkles. The length of the veil is just perfect for a junior bridesmaid or flower girl. It could also be worn for a first communion or any dress up occasion. The stainless steel clip barrette is wide enough to hold lots of hair for a half up/ half down style or to be placed atop a french twist, high bun updo or low bun at the nape.
