I originally bought this as part of a package, it was supposed to have the Knee and shin guards as part of it, however when I got it the knee and shin guards were not in the package, I did contact them and they gave me 50% off which i guess is fine, I had to purchase guards separately.... The jacket isn't bad at all, but the clip on the left shoulder came broken, so I can't clip it, which makes that side lose. So although I use it and feel like it may protect me, not as thrilled as I should be about it, I have to sew on some sort of clip to keep it tight.. Just wish I didn't have to do anything but wear it... But the seller did refund me 50% of the cost, so its ok.. ... show more

The cloth material needs work, it frays to easily. The shin guards are holding up reasonably well, but you're probably not really gonna find out about the over all protection until you crash and hopefully that won't happen.

Motorcycle Protective Jacket Full Body Armor, Spine Chest Protection Gear with Knee Pads was a no brainer compared to Alpine, Fox and other name brand body armor. I purchased a neck brace and attached it's three points of security to the body armor to prevent the collar from moving in an accident. The collar matched perfectly with my GLX/GX23 full face helmet. The plastic shell of the body armor is backed with a thin layer of foam for extra comfort along with vented plastic and foam for a cooler ride. The back protection is articulated for easier movement and goes from just below the neck down to the tailbone. The thumb loop at the hand helps keep the sleeves from riding up your arms and will not cause a problem with your gloves. The back support can be removed along with it's padding. However, the main suit will have to be hand washed and hung up to dry. Wearing a t-shirt under the armor will help prolong washing. The armor came with knee pads which are substantial and have removeable pads for washing. The body armor will help with your confidence, but not stop you from breaking bones. ... show more

The jacket itself seems ok. Pay attention to the sizing chart for proper fit in the US. There is not as much rib protection as I thought there would be but should be ok for now. The knee pads are not that good. I ordered a set for myself and a set for my kids and at least one of the articulation fasteners on both sets of knee pads broke the first time we knelt down on one knee. I would suggest ordering just the jacket and get different knee pads. ... show more

This product is good, comfortable and durable. I do not use it for motorcycling but rather for mid evil reenactment. I needed breathable, comfortable and durable padding for under my armor. It works well for that, I have used it in practice without any other armor and it takes a hard blow well. The possible weakest spot is the zipper up the middle. But that will take more time to test.     • Solid protective gear for the price
Save your skin! I'm 6'0" 215lbs, normally wear XL shirts for everything and this protective "jacket" in 3XL fits perfectly. Intended use for this is mtb trail riding on my electric unicycle, which can tear up any gear, expensive or not. Why spend $200-$300 just to replace it after a couple of scrapes. Knowing this I wanted something lower cost with good protection, and this fit the bill perfectly. Once strapped properly the arm pads don't seem to move out of place, and major props for the stout midsection strap (belt) and extra padding there, keeps core nice and tight. Not sure if I'll use the knee pads but they appear to flex in all the right places, it's just nice to know I've got an extra pair to gear up friends properly. Overall really pleased with this get up.
