This is a super high quality coat for the money. I bought this for a costume, my band has picked up some oldies gigs, with more on the horizon, so we are trying to look the part (we are all senior citizens!) has a real authentic look and feel, and everything else is already in my wardrobe, so I’m set! The jacket is extremely well made, the fit and finish are impeccable. There is an included fleece lining that can be removed and that helps with the weight a little. Pockets galore, side lacing for custom fit, the sleeves feel like they are somewhat broken in, easy to move your body any which way. Nothing bad to report at this time. Cons: jacket is very heavy and hot, so summertime wear might be dicey. I’d wear it for a couple hours tops, and I can always remove it if it’s too hot. This was a lot less money than a lot of similar items so I think this is a great buy. Totally recommend whether you ride or not, you can look like a badass greaser! ... show more

Great jacket definitely worth the money. I paid this price for one back in high school. And that was in the 80s. This is an excellent jacket cut great fits me well. A lot of the reviews here that express disappointment with the jacket's sizing are suspect. While it's not realistic to expect that everyone will be happy with a product when they recieve it (for a number off reasons), if this is your first time to buy a jacket like this, and you're on the fence, don't be. There are simple rules for making sure you get what you want. First of all, leather jacket sizing is *always* going to be slightly off. Leather is thick stuff. By the time you add the lining and shape the material's cut, you're easily looking at at least a two-size differential in the way it's going to fit. While there are more factors to consider (like what you'll be wearing underneath the jacket), do yourself a huge favor and get measured. Do it yourself, or get a friend to help. Most of these jackets have a sizing grid. If you use them, you won't be led astray. This makes the sizing estimation much easier, in my opinion. Next, take a break from the keyboard and venture out into the world. When was the last time you tried on a leather jacket? If the answer is "never," try to find a place that's close enough to where you live to go into a store and try a few on. This will be the easiest way to confirm the size that's going to be right for you. If you don't live close enough to a store that sells leather outerwear, you're kind of stuck. Start from two sizes up and go from there. If it's been a while since you tried one on, I'd highly reccomend doing this so you can update your sizing requirements accordingly. Next, come back to Amazon and buy this jacket. You're either here, reading this review because you want it, or you're thinking about getting it. Simply put, it's incredibly well made for the price you're going to pay. I'm fortunate enough to live close enough to a store that sells the exact same brand. It would have cost me about 30 dollars more to buy it outright from the store, and..well...let's just say that eventually Amazon Prime pays for itself. Mine came right on time, in pristine condition. The leather is sofft, but not too much so, which is where I like it, and there are no obvious marks or deformities throughout. The stitching looks to be very good, and it sports quality hardware and zippers. None of my snaps were out of alignment, and the buckle fits the holes AOK. The great thing about this jacket is that the sides have adjustable laces and a removable liner for when it's warm outside. My only complaint (and it's not really a complaint) is that my new jacket will require some breaking in, as all leather does. This is the third jacket I've bought in my life, and it's easily comparable to ones I've owned in the past that have lasted me for many years, but not through my expanding waistline. :) It's a definite keeper, and worth the investment. ... show more

    • Good riding jacket for the money.
Size: X-Large
The thickness of the leather and the toughness of the hardware are all acceptable so far. I will be having the jacket tailored so I can't give it a 5 star review. The body of the jacket is perfect for a xl but the arms are in between a normal large and xl. I have almost a dozen other jackets in both large and xl. Leather I usually have to size up. The arm cut it also slightly awkward as in it tapers weirdly at the arm puts but goes back to normal at the bottom of the bicep. It's a little tight right in the shoulder cup but I'm a bit bigger in the shoulders and chest so I'm not holding out against them. All in all good for the money. It fits better than my hot leather branded denims and until I compare it to my 400 dollar roland sands jacket I tore up in a accident it holds up as one of my better jackets. If your not looking to spend 400+ oh a top hide cut fitted riding jacket you won't be sorry if you grab this and have it altered for 40-60 bucks like I did. ... show more
