  • Very comfortable workout shoes
Size: 12 Wide Color: Navy
I had used a Modus Strength from Vivobarefoot for the past year. I liked them, but I found them a little stiff. I ended up tearing through the upper eyelet on my right foot, and needed new shoes. After doing some research, I thought I would try the Primus Lite, since other reviews said it was more flexible and a little more comfortable. I have not been disappointed. After a week of workouts there have been zero issues, including no blisters or rubs as they were broken in. ... show more

  • Best Shoes
Size: 8 Wide Color: Navy
I am a medical student and became very interested in natural foot health after receiving a scoliosis diagnosis, feeling that my problem is musculoskeletal. I bought these shoes and my lower back pain left. I use these in placers I need to have my feet covered and can't wear my earth runners. Get these if you are thinking about it. I also bought the waterproof outdoor vivo primus models, but the light with the shoes laces and the manufactured upper is just WAYYYY better. You can;t beat it. I know they had issues with the toe box ripping with wear but that hasn't happened to me and I have had them for a hot minute now, wearing them to patient exams and such. These are also my emergency shoes if I need to run. I plan on DEFINITELY using these in the Emergency Room when I go on rotations. ... show more

  • Lo mejor que he usado en los pies
Size: 8 Wide Color: Bright White
Me encantó. Hace años quería comprar los vivo pero no llegaban envíos a Perú. Fueron mucho más de lo que esperaba. Definitivamente valen la pena!!!

  • Poor in Build Quality and Quality Control; Bad experience in delivery too
Size: 11 Wide Color: Obsidian
The shoes arrived with the stitching coming apart!!! (strong indicator of a Quality and QC problem with Vivo barefoot, dirt in the sole (indicating that someone is bouncing around product to and from purchasers without doing any actual inspection and follow-up or the delivery is being exceptionally poorly treated), and for a +$170 shoe, the original packaging should be included (probably someone stealing high end product packaging). I am a huge Vivobarefoot fan. I bought my first pair of Primus Lite III more than a year ago and they (the first pair) are going strong, no issues with anything but tread wear. Given that I do everything in them, to include off-road trail running, use as a water shoe, and they go to the gym with me everyday I expected another great invincible product. Arriving with the stitches coming apart!? Unacceptable. I'm willing to bet that their build materials, quality and quality control have been compromised and with an increase in price. I tried them on and they absolutely "feel" different, less flexible, harder, more "plastic" vs leather "feel". comparing them with my pair I bought more than a year ago. I would consider other minimalist shoes, especially at the over $170 price range. ... show more

  • Great sneakers for prosthetic leg users
Size: 11 Wide Color: Obsidian
My husband uses a prosthetic and needed a really good pair of shoes for fit and comfort. He heard good things about these sneakers and decided to try them out. He’s worn them everyday and they work out great for him. They’re a good size, for his foot and prosthetic. He likes the style of the shoe. They’re pretty lightweight and worth what we paid. I’d share a photo but he’s at the gym. ... show more

  • Long time shoe wearer
Size: 7 Wide Color: Bright White
I bought these as a gift for someone who has owned a pair for a year. He said they fit great. My only complaint as a gifter is the rubber looked like it had dust or fine particles, maybe from the factory, which I wiped away with my hand.

  • Almost good
Size: 11 Wide Color: Obsidian
I've own many Vivos and have worn them exclusively for years. These don't feel like Vivos anymore. The toe box was way more narrow than it should have been, specifically where the base of the toes are. I thought I may be and to loosen the laces and that part would open up, but no. Instead, the sides dug into my toe joints making these much less comfortable. Guess it is time for me to try other brands again. I bought two of the recent models and both were smaller than older models. ... show more

  • This is ASMR for your feet.
Size: 8 Wide Color: Bright White
There are more than enough reviews on this shoe, so I won't repeat what has already been said about barefoot shoes, this shoe, durability, etc. There are two important things I will touch on: sizing and the lived experience with the shoe. 1. Sizing differs on different Vivo models. Research the specific model you are looking for on various online forums. They do not make half-sizes, so sizing can be a bit tricky. I bought the same size I wear in regular Adidas Stan Smith shoes, and I find that the shoe runs a bit long, but because of the design my foot doesn't slide at all and, after agonizing over whether I ordered the correct size, I am happy and comfortable! 2. This is ASMR for your feet. You will feel every crack in the sidewalk. Your feet will bend around rocks which gives great (and healthy) pressure around your sole. When I get home and take them off, it feels like I've had a foot massage. I find random excuses to go for walks. When I put other, cushioned shoes on, while the support is comfortable, my senses feel stunted. I wonder how crazy it is that for all these years I have been walking with these stunted senses - we have a crazy number of nerve endings in our feet, and they were completely dull in regular shoes. It's almost like losing taste once you've experienced it. Caveat: Barefoot shoes are not for everyone, and if you have a history of pain in your feet, knees, etc. you should consult a medical professional before embarking on this journey. Luckily for me, that is not the case, and I am loving it. ... show more
