My husband needed a second walker, since he needs a walker to transfer to his wheelchair, and one at the other end as well. I have often had to run back and forth with the walker to make it work. I purchased this walker along with a set of gliders and wheels Drive Medical RTL10109 Universal Walker Wheels, Gray and converted this from a simple standard walker to a rolling walker. Fortunately, the kit included gliders to fit over the caps on the back, since the larger rubber pieces on the back made it hard to maneuver the walker on the carpet The walker folds easily and snaps into place without a problem. I really appreciate the fact that the legs have the inch measurement marked on each hole, making it extremely easy to match up the four legs. Please be sure to note that this is designed for 250 pounds. Also, if you are considering this walker to fit through a smaller door, rather than one with wheels, you should know that wheels on a walker can be turned to the inside without losing stability, simply flip them 180 degrees to the center instead of the outside. (I learned that trick from my husband's physical therapist). I ordered this for use after Achilles reconstruction surgery. It’s everything I hoped for in terms of stability and ease of use (folding and unfolding). I am using the rubber feet for now, but will transition to the included wheels once I am able. Also came with a strap-on pouch for the front to carry things. It is somewhat limited because it is flat (not a basket), but still a useful feature. Easy to change out the rubber feet for the wheels, and the unit feels well made; substantial while light weight. Excellent product, came nearly fully assemble and all I had to do was snap in the wheels. I like how you can install the 2 wheels on the inner side of the walker so that my 88 year old elderly mom could use it in narrow spaces. Most important thing to me is that this product is supper light, this allows her to move the walker easily, she can actually pick up the entire walker without problem preventing her from getting tired.
