the shelf's are sturdy,solid and very expensive looking. the size is good enough to hold a few things well. They were also easy enough to install.My husband did they 1 2 3 with a drill. in terms of cleaning I just wipe them off. My kids would put their wet toothbrushes on one of them for awhile and I was afraid it would leave water marks. Maybe not watermarks but it changed the color of the wood (my second picture shows this)however I have since gotten a toothbrush container that does not go on d shelf and if other stuff is on it then it's not a big deal. so far so good. I would definitely recommend. Also I live in the Caribbean where it's always hot for whoever that information may have relevance for :-) ... show more
