This set perfectly stores small amounts of food. It's thick enough to be sturdy, but fairly lightweight to hold. The lids close tight (though I haven't flipped them to see if they're leakproof), and I love that I can use the dry erase marker to indicate what's inside, wash and do it again. I'm sure more use this for baby food- I use these for homemade cat food. I bought these to use in my lunchbox. Great size easy to clean. These are also great for prepping fruit for smoothies. I just take them out of the freezer when I want a quick smoothie. I like that there is NOT a flimsy rubber seal to trap odor and bacteria. These are leak proof. I’ve packed everything including condiments and nothing has leaked. These jars are great. I’m using them to store breast milk in the freezer currently and will use them for baby food next. They do hold 4oz filled to the brim but for liquids it’s best not to fill past 3 oz or you’ll spill when pouring the liquid out. They stack very well which is a must. I wanted plastic-free BM storage but the dry erase marker compatible lid is why I went with these instead of metal lids— it’s so convenient to be able to reuse the lids instead of always buying new ones (as for mason jars). I got these based on good reviews. There are surprisingly not a ton of options for glass baby food jars. These work great and I like the measurements on the side, as well as the pen for dating. I wish there was a 2 oz option, as I like to give my baby a variety of food at mealtime. I don’t know why people like these . These seem like cheap Chinese made crap to me. The instructions say you can’t put the glass in the microwave directly out of the fridge - and you can only microwave on low to medium heat. What kind of glass is this. Plastic feels weird and cheap. These have been the perfect jars to store my purées and baby food. The lids are cute colors and seal very well (no leaks so far). I appreciate that the jars themselves are glass and not plastic. They store and stack well in the freezer and are easy to warm up in the glass container in a pinch. A bonus is that I can use a dry erase marker to easily label the type of food on the lid.
