This is a good, solid vise. Good value for this size. The rotation is a little gritty-feeling, but it's no big deal. Jaws close smoothly. Like all vises of this type, small pieces have to be in the center of the jaws, or they will cock and the piece might not be held tightly. This is a good inexpensive vise with plenty of good features. I mounted it to a bench in my workshop and have gotten some good use out of it over the past few months. It can swivel so you can get it positioned to whatever you need. It has teeth to grip onto pipes. It moves pretty smoothly as well.
