This is an amazing wax blend for containers. It does come in a block, but it was around 75 degrees in my house and it literally cut like butter. Very easy to work with. (And after my first batch my hands were so soft I felt like I’d been to the salon) I heated to 190, added scent and dye at about 165-170, and poured at 155-160. My first batch came out perfect with beautiful smooth tops and no tunneling. I did not heat my containers (glass) before the pour as it was a test batch and wanted to see how good the adhesion was. I was not disappointed. Zero bubbles. Beautiful and smooth with no separation from the glass. I let cure for a week and the wax held scent very well at an 8 percent load. Highly recommend this wax. Like this wax. Wish it was cheaper but it is what it is, Coconut Apricot wax is in my opinion, the best wax on the market right now for container candles.

The wax was very easy to cut. It has a very smooth finish to cured candles. SO far the cold throw is really good and have not tested the hot throw yet. I am very happy with this wax so far. I had been using soy and soy coconut blend and they just never had that perfect smooth finish. Bonus, my hands feel so smooth after cutting it up into smaller pieces. ... show more

I started my candle making journey with a soy wax kit, and while the kit was great, the soy wax gave me SO much trouble. Lots of pitting, sweating, rough surface texture. I lost track of how many times I took the heat gun to those candles just to get semi decent looking tops. SO, I was delighted to receive this wax and discover how easy, beautiful and smooth it is! I’ve literally been making candles for just a couple weeks, and they’re already looking super professional. Get this wax, you won’t be disappointed! (Also, if you get a bit on your hands, just rub it in, it’s delightfully moisturizing since it’s almost 100% hydrogenated coconut and apricot kernel oils!) ... show more

Product came quick. Very easy to cut, melts quick and gives a smooth top to my candles. You think you are getting a discount by ordering on Amazon instead of the company's site. Depending on where you live, it could be cheaper to order off the website. Will order again.
