The "drawers" are just cloth baskets that slide freely on the shelves, but they provide such a nice area for things that should be hidden away, and everything looks neat and tidy. I like that there were choices for set up. I choose to make the L shape version. Fits perfectly in my lake cabin! Great quality, sturdy and esthetically pleading. No complaints about the rack so far as it was easy to put together and looks cute. BUT the stock pics are super misleading! See the actual pic of the assembled unit vs what they advertise and get the measuring tape out so you can see how much smaller it actually is.
