The shelves, bottom & top racks need to be right side up in order for all the plastic inserts to fit in, so the unit is set very sturdy and easy to assemble. We have had 5 different clothes racks and this is the best.

Just moved, and my new place doesn't actually have a closet or a lot of extra storage. I wanted something sturdy enough to hold basically my entire day-to-day wardrobe, so that I didn't have to buy multiple pieces of furniture. The actual garment rack is bigger than I thought (a plus!) and overall it's made of fairly sturdy metal, so I feel secure filling the rack and all the shelves as much as possible. And it's still pretty lightweight and easy to move after assembly. Super easy assembly, did it alone standing at 5'0 tall with no issues. I did use my own rubber mallet as recommended to settle everything in place, but you can use any heavy object. I used a textbook for the first shelf lol. Overall would recommend! ... show more
