Internal packaging was not great. Paper itself was subtle and pretty. I purchased this for birthday gifting was packed loosely in a thin cellophane wrap that didn't do much to protect the paper. I have many pen pals and this stationery is a fantastic find!!! A real treasure when it's getting harder and harder to find this size of paper! But the big plus is the beauty and completeness of the package: sheets, envelopes, and seals! Beautiful is an understatement for this set.
