In reading recommendations, it suggested that if you were at the end measurements to go up one. I disagree. If you have a 20 foot pontoon, get the 20 foot cover. I sized up based on the recommendations and it’s too big! It should fit more snug. There is a lot of loose material that will catch water and there will be no way to take up the slack that much. I’m not about to bother returning/exchanging this due to size and bulk of mailing it, but I certainly would not buy the size up again. The material is nice and thick as expected. It’s sewn well and has tags for front and back. Very handy. I put it on by myself. Have not taken it off by myself yet. I purchased this cover to be used for towing and overnight covering. 250 miles each way to lake property. Unfortunately, the straps are you for apart and the wind can enter underneath and cause the cover to tear in the rear. If it had more straps along the sides every foot. I think it would have worked for my needs. Daily cover usage was fine. UPDATE: Great customer service. Saw my original review and reached out to replace my damaged cover, no questions asked. ... show more

    • Great fabric quality but all the straps will fail
Initially, I was very pleased with the boat cover. Its very water proof which protects the upholstery but allows heavy pools of water to form on the cover after any rain. Even with poles tenting the cover, I hadn't found a way not to have pools of water gather. I took the boat, covered, on the interstate for the first time this weekend and had to stop halfway on the side of the road after over half of the straps, ripped from the seams of the cover leaving straps flailing off the trailer and the cover whipping in the wind. The boat cover straps will not stay in place....they slide and the cover collapses. This causes snow/water build up and the cover in not effective in that condidion.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this boat cover. The material feels high quality and durable. Time will tell, but we've had a mild yet wet winter and the cover has withstood the elements nicely. This cover is suited more for covering a boat on a trailer, but in my case, I installed it with the boat in water. I had to run the straps through the gaps above my pontoons which is a bit of a pain. In the future, I hope to add some mounts on the edging of the boat to run the straps through. The cover is very nice, and looks pretty good. It's not an eyesore like some covers can be - especially those that fade. Compared to other covers I've used, you can't go wrong with this one. Be sure to check the measurements of your boat and get the one that falls within range. Otherwise, you'll end up having to bunch up some of the cover to make it fit. ... show more
