I got this to cover my 16.5' Alumacraft boat when its not in use and it fits well. Because of the contours of the boat, there are slack areas that can collect water when it rains, which needs to be emptied or it will collect a lot of water - but this isn't the fault of the cover. I am a little disappointed that one of the clips broke after a few months. I contacted customer service and they graciously offered a partial refund so that I could buy new clips. The only issue I had is that after a couple of tries, the replacement clips did not work as well as what came with the cover. They either did not fit just right into the female receptor on the cover or they didn't hold the nylon strap well to tighten down the cover. I'd recommend this, but wish the manufacturer had replacement clips available. ... show more

Ordered the 14-16 for our 14ft outboard. Doesn't fit at all, way too short for our 14ft outboard. The company reached out to me and sent us a size up. Fits great! My husband is super happy. We live in a snow state so this is super necessary. I know these covers don't last forever bc mother nature is harsh. Thanks to the excellent customer service, I will come back again!!! ... show more

Has a strong elastic band. Tiedown straps were simple. I used it over top of older cover that had two supports and got a nice tight fit. Will also work well for summer dust cover while docked. The day after install it was 30 mph winds and the cover held very well.

The product is very simple to use and set up. The material does repel water well but recently had a thunderstorm in my area and woke up to cuts in my cover. Idk what the warranty is but it didn’t last 2 weeks. So if you in an area with lots of winds and debris flying get something a little more thicker and durable. This boat cover is replacing a 30 year old many times repaired canvas cover that originally came with my old 15’9” sea nymph aluminum fishing boat. I had built a wooden frame that fits on the boat and the canvas cover fits over it for winter storage. The new cover fit over that same frame perfectly and I did not have to use the included tent poles. The included tiedown straps allow the boat cover to fit perfectly. The whole installation took about 10 minutes from opening the box to putting the cover on the boat. Since this is a new purchase I can’t discuss its durability but it looks like a strong tightly knit material with good ventilation and should last many years. ... show more
