    • Shorter than I thought, but pretty solid and roomy

This is shorter than I thought, mainly because the wheels and thick bottom take away a good 6 inches of height. Nevertheless, it holds everything I had in mind with room to spare. I wasn't planning on putting on the wheels, but left them on because I'm tall. Not sure how it rolls fully loaded. Kinda a scared to roll it. The door sticks a bit, but I got used to it. It is possible I misunderstood the instructions for the locking mechanism. Those were really unclear. I found the rest of the instructions pretty good though. I didn't find the instructions when I unpacked the boxes. The instruction and locking bars where located between 2 shelves that I didn't bother to separate until it was time to load the shelves, which I correctly figured was one of the last steps. I found the instructions on the Vigli website and printed them out. They were harder to follow in black and white, print them in color/grayscale. When I finally found the instructions, they were easier to follow, but I had already completed most of the steps. Took me about 4 hours to put together. That includes dismantling and reassembling the top of unit because I put it on backwards. As suggested by another commenter, I carefully marked every component with marker and blue tape (she used crayon) in multiple places to identify the part letter and which way is up or front. That was a very helpful tip, except when I promptly ignored my tape when I put on the top. After drilling in 40 screws to secure the top, I had to unscrew 40 screws, rotate the top, then drill them back in. About 2 of those hours were spent unpacking. A box within a box with metal corner guards and lots of precisely packed Styrofoam. I had to double check this came from China because the packaging made me feel like it came from Japan. Despite all of that there was one slight bend of a corner and some scratches, but one of best protected shipments I've seen. Definitely get a power screw driver. Also, get a magnetic ph1 bit. The magnetic bit I finally bought a few years ago really paid off for this work. Also, get a 90 degree adaptor for the back panels. I ended up manually screwing those in with the provided screw driver which I laid flat on the back of the panel. After this was done, I noticed I placed my 90 degree bit adapter with a different drill, that would've been nice. While largely unused, the provided screw driver was nice enough to throw in my tool box and not the trash where these tools usually go. One other issue is the lower front inside slots for the shelf was misaligned with the 4 other slots on the back and other front inside. It was aligned as I went further up and the lowest shelf is stable enough, but that is very disappointing at this price point. Having said that, the shelf supports are easy to install, if you read the instructions which ai didn't initially, and are very solid. I've weighed that entire shelf down with gallon buckets of paint without any sagging. I know I griped a lot, but I'm very pleased with this. The deeper and wider shelves work really well and allow me to store a lot of stuff. I love the pegboards. While not intended, I may enjoy the mobility if I ever get the courage. ... show more

Would recommend using an electric screwdriver. Took my mechanic husband over 3 hours to get this cabinet up and running. But SOOO worth it. Great investment piece. We are using it as a pantry cabinet beside our washtower in our laundry room. Couldn't be happier with quality and functionality. Worth the labor to put it together..and all the pieces came extremely well packaged. NO DAMAGE and NO MISSING PIECES. Closes perfectly..no dings, dents or gaps! ... show more

I bought this cabinet to use as a pantry. I was considering different brands of garage cabinets because I wanted something tall and deep with casters. This ViNGLI cabinet checked all the boxes and was less expensive. It arrived in 2 big, very heavy boxes - two days apart; The delivery drivers kindly put them in my garage. I am a 67 year old person with arthritis. I opened the boxes as they were placed and carried each piece into my house close to where I planned to assemble. That took 2-hours. The packaging was unlike anything I've seen: I opened the carton to find weighty metal corner pieces protecting another carton - a box within a box. I opened the inner box to find the shipment encased in 2" thick styrofoam and more metal corner protectors. So part of the 2-hours was dealing with the packaging materials. Then as I checked over the cabinet parts and pieces I couldn't find instructions. I reached out to the Seller and had a pdf in my email within 3-hours. Assemble: I read all the reviews regarding people having issues, I watched some videos about cabinet assembly; I did find one for a smaller version of a VINGLI cabinet. I used some of the cardboard from the packaging to cover my floor and table (I used my dining table and a chair as prop) I can't kneel anymore so I built the cabinet off-the-floor as much as possible. The instructions were very good, in fact having them in a pdf allowed me to zoom in to see the part numbers better. It took me about 3-hours to build it by myself. I did not install the lock feature. The machining of the holes and screws were exact (tight). I found it best to start the screws by hand with the included screwdriver before using a power tool. I put every screw in loosely until the cabinet was upright with shelves installed - thereby ensuring every side was plum - before going back to tighten them all. I plan to get a second one for the pantry and a couple for the garage.. ... show more

So the unit came very quickly. However, the cabinet does not shut without locking the doors and it has dents ALL over the unit. Every place that had banding to keep everything secure, it was too tight and left marks. Each panel has marks. And there is also a dent on the inside of the right door as you look at the cabinet not from shipping. This was not horrible to assemble due only to the fact I am ok with this kind of assembly. The holes did not line up on several pcs and took longer to put together. It is very sturdy and it took way longer that it should to assemble. So it kills me to have to write this review and now contact the company to replace parts that I am well aware are going to take me longer to replace. But since this is in our board room and needs to look nice, I will be forced to get it replaced. ... show more

Seems sturdy enough, came packed really well, setup was easy following directions, and rolls easily. Locking mechanism is mediocre, but good enough to keep toddler out. There were extras of every part except short one screw for the handles. I would probably still reccomend this product.
