Bought this lens with excitement as one of the first z mount at f1.4 I could find or afford. However the lens does not focus on stars - which is why I bought this lens, for astrophotography given the aperture. No matter what, AF or MF, stars turn out as little blurry halos, not crisp points of light like my other f2.8 lens captures.
