I didn't know that Viking Revolution made colognes. I recently became aware of their deodorant products, which both my son and my husband like. So, I ordered this product because I figured they would probably like it as well. I wasn't wrong either, because they both did like this cologne, and it came in a two pack, so that was one for each of them. They were really nice gifts for Easter. The bottles are generously sized, so you get quite a lot of product for the price you pay. The bottles are nice, and made of very thick glass. They have pump sprays on them, and of course, this cologne smells really nice. I'm not a fan of cologne that is very loud and strong. I prefer a more subtle and calm scent, and thankfully that is how Viking Revolution is. One to two sprays is plenty enough, and the scent is rather woodsy, masculine, clean, and spicy, with the Bergamot notes. It's a really nice choice for any guys looking for a good cologne. I’ve tried some other products from this brand and have always felt pretty good about them and when I saw they were doing fragrances I didn’t hesitate. I am a bit of a fragrance collector (my wife says hoarder but, tomato-tohmahtoe ya know) anyways I’m a sucker for new fragrances. So here’s my observations. For one this is an eau de toilette concentration so it’s a lower concentration right out of the gate, this isn’t going to be a beast mode performer it just won’t. The scent profile is very much the bergamot, it’s very front and center and it’s a linear fragrance from start to finish it doesn’t develop a whole lot it’s just lemony zest all the way. Presentation isn’t bad for this level of fragrance it’s something you’d see typically in a cheaper big box store fragrance, and to be fair I know this brand is available at those stores at that price point so I think that’s fair to say. I have to ding it a little simply because the crimp is leaking a bit, it’s not bad but it could have been and damage is damage at the end of the day. Just be weary of laying them on their side if you notice any leakage. According to my notes the opening was very lemon-y. Kind of pledge lemony if that makes sense. But it wasn’t unpleasant and it didn’t seem to have that huge alcohol blast some cheaper fragrances can have but it was a tad screechy at first, just that huge blast of lemon but on the dry down it did tone down a lot. It still had that very front and center bergamot but it did mellow out more. Maybe a bit of spice in there hiding somewhere in the mix but it’s not a terribly complex scent. This DNA I’ve smelled quite a few times, it a pretty common scent for the life of me I can’t pin point an exact “it smells like this cologne” but it’s there. I want to think it should be in a blue bottle, almost aquatic but not. Definitely a summer scent and definitely aimed at a younger male. You wanna know what this is? This is after a shower you’re getting ready to lay down and chill and you spray this on. It’s not a longevity monster, on my skin I got about 3 ish hours of sillage before it was just gone not even really a skin scent it was just gone. BUT this concentration that’s really to be expected and at this price just…spray more on. Spray it on you, spray it in the car, spray your pillows it doesn’t matter cause it’s not breaking your wallet. We’re talking 7 oz for 25 bucks (at the time of this review) two full bottles of this stuff, that’s 12 bucks a bottle so just go nuts. I know this review may sound critical but I’m really not, for this price this is a steal. The scent does smell pleasant, my wife thought it smelled good. It’s not a bad scent it’s just nothing groundbreaking and that’s ok. It doesn’t always have to be. You want a nice stocking stuffer? Here ya go. Got a high schooler that thinks body sprays are the same as a bath, maybe suggest this (and a bath). This is that kind of thing, it’s easy to wear it’s guiltless to use and not everyone cares about the next angel share or something.     • Light musky scent that lasts, not overwhelming
A couple sprays of this lasts the day for me. This is a "manly" yet pleasing smell. You get two 100 mL bottles in the pack, and each bottle is an attractive rectangular glass with the logo in relief.The inner chamber has a slight curve to it, and the cap is a rounded plastic square. The presumably plastic spritzer has a metallic gold coating on it. This is one that looks good on display. I have another brand that cost about 4 times as much, and this is a very similar scent. It's almost musky, but not overpowering. The sweetness is tempered with a mildly floral tone. This makes a great gift for dad or husband, or as a treat for yourself. ... show more

it smells really nice, but it doesn’t seem to really last more than an hour or so before fading. it also really is not that strong. for a few seconds it’s pungent and then it really dissipates quickly. just wish it was a better performer.

I was a bit skeptical on how a sandalwood cologne would be for a 2 pack of 3.5 oz bottles for a whopping $24/$25 at the time of ordering (I see they are $30 now). The photos seem like it's geared towards a craft cocktail bartender or a barber who serves old fashioneds. I thought why not, it's sandalwood - how bad can it be? I, being a woman. I do enjoy masculine scents so I put an order in. The boxes themselves fit the theme of the photos in the listing, but the bottles are pretty nice and hefty. The scent itself is nice, and not very strong, like a strong body splash, less of an EDT. I normally spray myself just once for EDPs, and maybe 2x for a designer EDT. For this one, I did 2 on my neck and another on my arms and one on my stomach area. The scent is soft and I feel like only I can smell it or someone who is about to kiss me can. It certainly doesn't last all day but I had low expectations going in. My only gripe is they made this 3.5 oz and that one extra oz means I can't bring it in a carry on. Viking people - please reconsider this! .1 oz makes the difference for us and you can save so much in the long run! For the amount of EDT you get, you could keep a bottle at work and touch up midday if you find the scent has disappeared. Final tip: don't pick the bottle up by the cap - it is not very strong and will quickly separate from the bottle. ... show more

    • Perfect duo for a Father’s day gift!
I wasn’t sure what to expect with these colognes as it’s a pack of two for only $25, but these exceeded my expectations and then some! First off, this bergamot cologne is actually a clear liquid and not the amber color that’s shown in the listing. Besides that, this smells absolutely wonderful! It’s a bright and sophisticated scent with a hint of sweet floral that’s truly addicting to smell, and not to mention it smells even better on my spouse. It has a fine mist spray, and I haven’t had any issues with the pump sticking. I can spray one or two puffs, and the smell does last all day! My spouse will come home after a long day and he will still smell like the cologne. The set of two makes this an absolutely perfect Father’s Day gift! This is our new favorite cologne ... show more
