They're good products for intended application. Here is what my barber told me how to use it. After your shave ritual and you're ready for the beard balm. I like sandalwood, so for example I use the Sandalwood beard balm and shape the soup catcher to my liking. Then, with the fingernails of whatever hand scrap a half pea size on each nail of that hand on the sandalwood scent cologne tins, then wipe it onto the fingertips of the opposite hand and rub a little. Reach behind your neck near the ears and slide forward along the neck and down your neck to your chest and rub the remainder on your fingertips and work it into your beard and then brush again. Even hours after I have put it on and snuggled it front of the TV she tells me my bead smells good but not overbearing like a spray cologne would. Its heat activated, so its good on the pits when you're on the go. I dab a little in my hair just before combing too. ... show more

First of all I absolutely love the product. My friend was only really a fan of the vetiver but I happened to love all 4 of them. I bought this being in a house with multiple people. I wanted something that would smell good without being offensive by having fumes go through the house. And this hit the nail on the head. Everything smells clean and masculine. I needed fragrances to get me through the summer that were inexpensive and this was excellent. I love how portable it is for retouches as well. All in all a good buy. As for the longevity that is TBD. But so far i'm quite pleased. I'll be purchasing these again hopefully in a full size. ... show more

My favorites of the pack so far: Vetiver scent is subtle and not too overwhelming. It’s perfect for fresh out of the shower. And Sandalwood is more so for outdoors. I find these scents have a good 3-4 hours lasting performance. It’s small enough to keep in your pocket or store in the car.

It's a very lovely product. I thought they would be a bit bigger than they were.. but they will last a long time! I will admit that the scents aren't super strong, unless you melt a little bit and apply that to your neck and wrist. I will definitely be getting more.

I found myself not using this. It seemed interesting, I suppose marketing did a good job. It's just not living up to the expectations I had for it. My thought was this pocket canister that you could easily apply and have a relatively long lasting scent. However it seems to fade much faster than I would expect for the oily/waxy application. It's a fair bit messier than I expected with it not fully melting and turning into a thin paste that was tacky to the touch. I didn't really want to have a sticky spot where I applied it, normally it'd be on the neck. I ended up using my forearms, which wasn't much better and I needed to wash my hands afterward. Most of the scents were good otherwise. Vetvier was a bit on the soapy side for me, and the Cedar/Pine smelled more like Cola. Sandalwood was spot on, and the Sage was probably my favorite, but here's the problem with putting it in your pocket as a portable on the go kind of thing. It's lost. No idea where it went or where I put it. With my normal cologne it's in two places. One in the bathroom, one in the car. They don't move. I'm sure I'll find my Sage again someday, and hopefully it hasn't melted out in the summer heat. I wanted to like it, but just not for me. ... show more
