These were a surprise. I was very hesitant but figured okay, let's do it. why not. And woah, was I surprised. They're pleasantly so fragrant! They're not over flowing with alcohol in the scent. They're not super faint either. It's the perfect middle ground. They don't last too long. I purchased the sampler tins as a stocking stuffer for my teenager. I think he’s going to be thrilled- he can test different scents and they won’t aggravate his sibling's asthma or migraines as a mist might. The photos don’t show that the small tins come packaged in a nice box with brand and description on the top. I got this as an early Christmas present for my husband because I wanted to try something different, he absolutely loved them!! The packages came with a cute sticker and a business card, the packaging was also neat and easy to put back in the box (I had to smell them before I gave them to him first lol) Our personal favorite is the sweet tobacco, it’s not too strong but just right and is perfect for everyday use. I really like the idea of these. Most smell good alone, but more complex when you mix them. I have two gripes which explain my rating - 1. The fragrances do not last that long. The use case would be something to keep at your desk in the office that doesn’t atomize in the air, yet gives you a freshen up midday or before a meeting. 2. A couple of the fragrances smell awfully similar to scented candles. Mostly the vanilla one. That one you can use to mix in with one of the other scents to create a scent that you like. I like the easy application of solid colognes since they’re easy to apply and it’s much easier to control how strong you want to smell vs a spray on scent. You just dip your finger in and spread around for a little bit or you can dig out a little bit and warm it up between your finger if you want to apply a bigger amount. I like the Bergamot, Majestic Oud and Sweet Tabasco scents, they are definitely more on the masculine side but I’ve always enjoyed some of these types of scents and I think women can use them too. It’s all about making you smell nice with scents you enjoy. The only scent I didn’t really like was Spiced Vanilla. It definitly reminds me of cake/cookies and smelled sweet. Not sure if you’d really want to smell like a baked good, but I guess to each their own. And they do remind of some scented candles I have. ... show more
