Just received this a few days ago, and it's working swell. However, I've noticed you need to really, REALLY tightened the joints , or else it loses its shape. I'm often worried needing to do this extra tightening for fear of it breaking. Otherwise, a decent product.

Unfortunately doesn’t stay lock up in one position, it bends even after almost breaking the lock mechanism. I can’t recommend this, must be revisited and redone back to the blue print.

I use this overhead mount for my Nikon Z6 when recording videos for reviews. I love how it is sturdy and can hold the weight of my Z6 without any problem. I use this camera mount system to record Youtube videos needing close-up work of my work bench and most of the time it works just fine. However, occasionally I find I can't get the camera to a position I want due to the restrictions on movement of the joints and the length of the individual tubes. In that case I have still had to use a tripod of some description, however, 95% or more of the time I have found this system to be adequate and relatively sturdy and well made. ... show more

The product works for my needs holding a mini laser that is very lightweight. I'm not sure I would want to have any heavier equipment on it because I do think it will drift with weight. In one of the images and in the write up it says that the table c-clamp is removable and shows in a picture that the is a heavy base (not included) that is available as an option. after contacting the company I was told there is no base...I was disappointed as I had planned of purchasing it in the future. ... show more
