Con - The only thing negative I can think of is the dial on the side is not adjustable to where center is. Like the numbers don't point 0 towards you. The product itself it good but it does lack some sturdiness the farther out you extend the arm. This is to be expected with gravity taking its part but the clamp that holds the arm I think could be a little stiffer or have more options to keep the arm level. Be sure to keep the mini hex wrench tool. Tape it to the bar or something. Most typical hex wrench wouldn't fit under the ball head. Not enough clearance. Important to lock the segment to prevent rotation. Construction is sturdy, solid and good quality. No rough edges, flex ,rattling or shoddy imperfections. The levers to tighten each segment was smooth and held firmly without slipping. LS06 comes with two segment. One shorter and another standard length. The shorter segment was useful fur positioning my tablet. LS08 base kit includes 1/4 to 3/8 adapters and 1/4 to 5/8. However, LS06 came with zero adapters. ... show more

    • Can't even hold up its OWN weight!

Was excited to try this out because it feels nice to the touch, but after hours of trying to set this up, I have found that neither arm (short nor long) can hold the other up at a 90-degree angle. It always droops and it droops quickly, even with no adapter, phone, camera, or light added to the end. We are talking about an empty arm that can't stay up. This is not helped by the fact that the machining around the ball joint holder is poor and it is hard to tell without any levels where 90 degrees is. After much frustration, I tried to add my phone onto the arms using an adapter I own, hoping to use the phone's angle detection to see if maybe I wasn't eyeballing 90 degrees correctly. but nope, phone camera's angle detection verified that it starts flat and starts drooping. This made my admittedly lightweight tripod try to tip over. I used this as an excuse to upgrade to a better tripod, and with that upgrade, the tripod (not from this manufacturer) itself stays upright, but the arm still droops. This would be completely useless for any purpose I (or you) would want it for. I have a very lightweight phone and even with that I can't get any footage cleanly at all, but I would not be confident that the arm wouldn't continue to drop until either my phone hit something or it forced my tripod to fall. ... show more

Out of all of the variety of streamer/content creator accessory poles i've used, the telescopic design of the Vijim def holds up better then others and there is no slack to deal with when adjusting: just lock in the height and be done. No worrying about your device/light sagging or settling once you let go of the pole. Other positives for this baby are the well machined sturdy accesories, and the lo-pro look of the rig, very profesh’ vibe/aesthetic.
