Comes sleek out of the box and well packaged. Materials are as described: Topnotch. Just started playing for a few hours and I hope with time and the after break in period the sound will still improve. Big sound for the deceptively small size. I may update my review sometime in the future but immediate reason for not giving five stars is non inclusion of remote control and the fact that you cannot control the frequencies. This is the 2nd Vifa Copenhagen I’ve purchased. They’re very expensive but when working you cannot be the sound quality. My challenge is they can be very difficult to connect via Bluetooth. The first one I purchased works well although it was difficult to connect. The 2nd one I purchased would not connect. I tired everything and it just wouldn’t work. I’m sure there are comparable speakers out there for much less but I do think the sound is exceptional with ViFa. If they could only figure out the poor connectivity issues. ... show more

    • A high quality speaker for use mainly indoors.

I wanted a high quality external speaker to use in my office, bedroom, etc. The sound is amazing! From jazz, classical, pop, rock or acoustic folk music I was not disappointed. A very rich and warm sound where the vocals and instruments are full, immediate, and well articulated. There is more than enough base without any distortion no matter the volume. And the volume from the speaker can fill a large room with ease. This is an expensive and relatively heavy speaker with the advantage of an all metal handle. The controls are easily useable and placement of the speaker is not limited to a power source due to its internal battery. However, because of the weight, this not a speaker I would want to carry by hand for any long distances. Nor would I want to use this speaker outdoors in an unprotected environment as it is not water resistant or otherwise protected from the elements. The app was not too difficult to download and offers some limited options for adjusting the sound. Though not cheap, I believe this speaker offers real value for the money. I would recommend that Vifa in the future consider offering a protective travel carrying case. ... show more
