I needed a monitor that was viewable from a few feet away. It's got a great picture and the curved screen is a nice touch. It's got slots for 3 monitors - 2 HDMI and 1 display port. No HDMI cables but it comes with a DP cable. I have another computer hooked to this monitor so I can switch between them. No instruction manual included and the setup instructions are terrible. I had to download the user manual to figure out how to power it up and use the control panel. My only complaint is with the stand: 1) It slides into a slot on the back and you have to force it to snap into place. Otherwise it's very wobbly 2) the stand tilts vertically which is nice but it cannot be adjusted up or down. It sits too high for my needs so I'll need to install a wall mount at the right height. Another minor complaint is that the input slots are mounted vertically which helps to save space behind the monitor but makes it more difficult to plug in the cables. ... show more

There's not much to say, I am very happy with the Monitor. From a 27" to this one and can't believe the difference in size. Color is great out of the box. Games look great, no ghosting at all. I was missing the power supply, but I contacted ViewSonic and they 2 dayed the power supply to me. Not happy it was not in the box but they were really good to talk to and really did a nice job fixing the issue. So big 5 stars to them. ... show more

Let me start by saying that I love this monitor. I started gaming originally on a 32" TV that I had lying around when I got my first PC, but when I upgraded my PC, I felt it was time to upgrade my monitor too. I did a bit of searching and after reading customer reviews I settled on this one. The picture quality and clarity of the display are WORLDS apart. I can never go back to anything less now. My only issue is that since day one, right after the initial setup, I noticed some weird spacing issues at the top of the monitor. Every single time I start my computer up, there are a few areas at the top of the screen that aren't covered by the border around the monitor where they look like they're separated. The issue is fixed by just lightly running my finger along the top of the screen to tuck it back under the border. Other than that, it's great. I would recommend it to anyone looking to level up their gaming. I'll add photos when I can. ... show more

I can not emphasize this enough - BE INCREDIBLY CAREFUL - more than you have ever been on any monitor before, when you connect the panel to the stand. The seemingly oversimplified connection is very weak and in my case, although it 'seemed' like it was connected, it wasn't. I've probably used a dozen gaming monitors over the last 12 years and this by far has the worst connection to the stand I've ever seen. The panel itself is ok, 1440p gaming for a good price, now that 240hz is becoming the norm - but dear lord - the panel will pop right off the stand just connecting an hdmi cable if the connection isn't secure, and that was the problem, it was, but can still come loose very easily. I don't know if this was a isolated manufacturer defect, or if it's just plain bad cheap design, but even the slight bump off the stand, it completely destroyed the panel, which brings me to my second biggest problem, the panel is so weak and flimsy, be extremely careful. Two hundred dollars burnt up very quickly. ... show more

I was in the market for 1080 monitor and came across this monitor. It has a great picture. Don't expect much from the built-in speakers....They are a joke. Just grab a jungle website pair It has two HDMI ports. I have my gaming PC on one and the Mac on the other.
