I could go on and on about this watch so I'll try to keep this short. Scratching on the Watch Face: There isn't any! My coat zipper brushes against it all the time and there isn't a single mark. Fantastic sapphire! Weight of the Watch: It is heavy enough to feel like a really well made product, but not annoying in any way. Functionality: I was looking for something that could give me the time and look great doing it. This watch definitely succeeds in that department. It even tells me the date as a little bonus! Readability: Perfect in the day, impossible at night. The glowing substance on the watch hands doesn't last very long at all. Honestly, it's not a really a problem for me because I am normally driving when it's night time anyway. Exclusivity: It's obviously no Rolex, but it's not imitating anything either. It's its' own thing. It has a very subtle level of class. It isn't the first thing that people notice about you. You know you have something very nice on your wrist and that's all that matters! Overall Thoughts: I love my Victorinox Maverick! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a watch that will be classy for every day wear and that will last a very long time. ... show more

I have had Swiss Army watches for 20 years now. I have used them for the most vigorous and wet conditions. I keep going back to them as I cannot find a brand that delivers so much performance for the money. This watch is great! One month into it and it looks as great as it performs. I will continue to use an older SA watch for my tennis/golf/swimming/etc. and use this one for just casual activity. Very readable date window and numerals (and that's vital for this 72 year old) plus it looks and feels great. I have medium-smaller wrists and this is not too big. I have Hamilton and Tags,and a host of other watches got this last week and it’s my top pick right now. I like the sapphire crystal, the leather band and black pvd coating. The bezel while plastic turns very easily which I like a lot and use frequently to time things. I like no screw down crown…it’s not a dive watch and is much easier to deal with going through time zones. Also the case is not to thick and can be worn under a dress shirt. Looks great! Feels great on the wrist. But, who thought putting a leather band on a water resistant watch was a good idea???? It's a nice leather band, but useless, unless you will take the watch off when showering. A rubber band would be much more useful, but that's being picky. Also, the pins are hard to extract, again, a minor issue. Otherwise, I am happy with the watch. ... show more

This product was just as described, and at a GREAT price! The color is perfect at a navy blue just as I was hoping for and expecting. It does not look "black" as another reviewer stated. Cracked it open upon arrival and put the loupe to it to verify that it is, in fact, genuine Swiss quartz movement inside. Great looking watch overall and a perfect weight where it feels substantial (as in not cheap) in the hand, but light on the wrist for activity without moving around and feeling in the way. ... show more

The watch arrived on time and was very well packaged. I set the watch several days ago and,so far, it's keeping perfect time.It's a large watch but light weight especially relative to it's size. The watch was defective. The second hand ticked half way between the indicies. it also came with no warranty stamp. We will see what the replacement brings.
