I needed a headlight for my fish room, but also just for regular night time usage. This is NOT a cheap, 2 AA battery type of headlamp. The beams are very strong. The light is white and clear, the beam is focused on one setting and softer and more spread on the other. The weight of headlight is not bad at all, it does seem a bit bulky while on but I got use to it quickly. The weight and size may be a con to some people, but the overall quality should scratch those cons out. It recharges quickly and holds it charge for a long time. I use it for 20-60 minute bursts of time and usually on the medium setting. I have not needed to charge it up despite using it at least 10 times thus far. The blinking light is strong and the signal is clear, it is not muddy and can be seen from across the street easily. I have used the value packs of headlights thinking that a little light is all I need. I was only fooling myself and lining pockets of sellers with junk I could not use. Don't fool yourself. If you're getting older like me and need a little more light for hobbies, emergencies or everyday use, you really cannot do better than this model. The price point is also great! This head lamp cost me $9.98 and I am very pleased with it! Take a chance and try this out for yourself, you'll be happy you did! ... show more

This is one of those things you never knew you needed until you have one. Getting "light on the subject" is immensely helpful and I find I use it all the time. This head lamp is very bright and has different lighting for different conditions. Lots of choices. Easy to use, although the button locations take some getting used to as they are located on the light housing and so move whenever you tilt it. It is comfortable to wear but not very easy to carry around when not on your head since the bands are soft and "floppy". Having the batteries behind your head instead of in the light housing balances out the unit and helps keep it on your head without having to have tight straps. Revised: I initially had one complaint: Even though it has what seems to be a pair of large batteries, they really didn't last that long when using the main/brightest lamp. The main lamp would go out fairly quickly (10-15 minutes) and only work after recharging the batteries (he other lights would still work). The seller contacted me and replaced the whole unit free of charge. The new unit does not have that problem. The main lamp has stayed on for quite a while, although I haven't tested the duration. I use this particular headlight for my sewing. I can get through a project, a project and a half. And then the light starts going dim. It has rechargeable batteries so you just plug it in with a type c charger cord included. But not the part you plug in the wall. So from my needs it does a good job.

I like the long bright beam setting best, but the other settings are useful too. I like that it's rechargeable. The strap can sometimes get tangled up, but it doesn't take long to untangle. This is a good hands free lighting solution.

I have a very small head, but I was still able to adjust it so that it fits. The strap across the top of the head helps keep it in place. It's nice and bright and the light projects pretty far out in front of us. It's nice that once it's been on for a few seconds that you don't have to "scroll" through all the modes to turn it off. It's a little bulky, but I don't mind that and once it's on your head you don't notice. My husband steals it from me pretty frequently so I'm going to buy another one so that I always have one available. Love that it is rechargeable, but I've had to charge it every couple of weeks, so the charge isn't the longest lasting, but I do use it every day to walk the dogs.
