I've only had the flashlight for a couple of days, so I can't comment on battery life, but the rechargeable battery that comes with it charges quickly. It also comes with an adapter that will let you power it with 3 AA batteries, so it's nice t have both options. The flashlight seems very sturdy/well-constructed. It's a little larger than I anticipated, approximately the diameter/length you'd expect for a flashlight that ran on 2 C batteries. But the real story here is how bright it is...very impressive, even when you're casting the widest dispersion of the light. Only time will tell how well the rechargeable battery holds up, but based on my initial experience, I'm optimistic that it will perform well. Update: after several months, I can add that the rechargeable battery lasts a LONG time between recharges. Also, I've dropped this flashlight repeatedly to no ill effect. ... show more

I bought these & another brand as well. Both are comparable & the brightest flashlight I have ever owned. I bought these & then grabbed the other brand for my kids - this way all 4 of us have one in the car if ever needed. Also can be grabbed & used in the house if there is a blackout. The light is bright and covers a large area. It adjusts smaller also so you can close in on a small area. Comes with a belt case and a carrying strap. I know they will last and best of all the batteries are rechargeable. I can also use Aa batteries as a back up if no electricity available. The media could not be loaded. Overall pretty good. I like that it came with a big battery and can charge with USB. It's a little bigger than I expected but as you can see it'll light up an attic. It does have some flicker when trying to shoot a video or even take a picture. Not sure the reason for that. ... show more
