Just spectacular! Not even “for the price” this helmet is a solid choice for riding especially in weather conditions, the magnetic visor is heaven sent, the mesh filters on top deter most debris (if it’s raining really bad, you might feel it), it fits snug as a glove! (I got a big ole head)

    • Went by size chart, yet helmet was too tight and fit poorly.
I bought this in a large as my head measurement was in that range on their size chart, however, upon receiving it and trying it on, it was too small and pressed on spots on my head, seemed like there wasn't any padding. In addition, as others have noted, the pins on the visor did not fit the holes in the helmet. I could get the outer two in, but that then held the center one off the helmet too far to get it to fasten. Great design, and once I exchange this for a larger size, I was thrilled with it. Extremely comfortable, and the new one's visor snapped in firmly and fit well. I love the visor. No more bugs, grit, etc. pelting me in the eyes, and as a glasses wearer, they function as sunglasses and cut glare tremendously. Also fits over my glasses frames. Has padding that wraps over strap buckle to provide a comfortable chin strap, even when tightened. Have worn helmet for several hours with no discomfort at all. Padded liner is great. Couldn't be happier with it once I got the correct size. If your head measures close to the maximum for a certain size, consider getting the next size up. ... show more

    • Truly Amazing! Far beyond my expectations....Wow!!

I'm 63 now and been cycling for many years, but this is my first helmet (it's about time!). So I'm certainly not up to date on cycling helmet design. However, when I opened this package and looked this helmet over carefully, I saw detail after detail that are the obvious results of impeccable craftsmanship coupled with design details born of long experience and innovative genius. That's high praise coming from a helmet novice, but it's my honest feeling about this product. Let me count the attributes. It is streamlined, appealing to the eye, seems very sturdy and durable, well ventilated, well padded (with absorbent, comfortable, easily removable, washable, sweatband), lightweight, and comfortable. The visor along with the very cool magnetic clip-on protective eye shield are exactly just right. I only fear losing the eye shield if I take it off while riding for some reason. The headband is very easy to adjust instantly by turning the round light assembly in back. The light has an easy pushbutton control with three options: constant red light, flashing red, or shifting red (say like emergency vehicle lights do). Finally, the chin strap... Very well designed, it has several details that lend to comfort, secure sturdy fit, and reliability. I like it a LOT. If you don't like this helmet you would have to be an exceptional case! The helmet looks good, feels good, and is lightweight. For the money, this helmet is hard to beat. I like that the helmet is high vis which will keep you safer at all times since visibility is a danger for cyclists. The ratchet system works well and so does the chinstrap. The tinted lens works well and the magnets are strong. I've never had a problem with it ever falling off. The built-in light is okay... It isn't bright at all but it is better than nothing. I use the light anyway because the more visible you are to cars the better. Personally, I wouldn't count on the light on the helmet to keep you visible at night. Consider buying another light to attach to the bicycle which is what I did. ... show more

Helmet is easy to adjust to size and adjusting band is well padded for comfort. I really like the visor since I have a problem wearing sunglasses. It also provides protection from drying wind on hot days. The built in light is ok but not highly visible from the rear since it tends to work its way under the helmet. The switch to turn it off and on is VERY easy to change and most gets turned on or off accidentally. They put a "disclaimer" on the yellow paint that it tends to fade. After about a month of use, I have not seen a change but it would be hard to notice a gradual change. So glad I haven't crash tested it yet, but when the day comes and my brains aren't scrambled I'll add to this review ;-) ... show more

This helmet arrived earlier that expected, was easy to fit and fits beautifully. The eye shield is perfect and the magnets are strong. The yellow color is highly visible for safety purposes. I would buy and recommend it again.
