Description

Our telescoping cam lock support poles have die cast collars and stainless steel components, allowing them to hold a staggering 170 lbs. ; that is over twice the weight of standard thumbscrew mooring poles. The aluminum tubing is light weight, anodized, and heat treated to make sure it can withstand any climate, and with the added strength of a ribbed profile this pole is designed to last.

    • Cam locks slip and deteriorate in the Texas heat but are still usable with some effort
I have 4 of these on my pontoon boat that I have had for 7 years now. After only 1 year in the Texas heat, the cam locks (which are plastic) began slipping, allowing the cover to become loose and collect water. To continue using them I had to run sheet metal screws through the sides of the poles and make them "fixed" instead of adjustable so that they would stop slipping and hold the cover up. So, these are not perfect but they are the only cover support rods that fit into the plastic cover vents. ... show more
