  • Good Quality - Good Design - Good Usuability
Color: Black Size: Large Style: Pump
It's a pump and should expect it to work. But when searching for comparable products look at the design features. The valve - it works better than expected. I was concerned that the side lever would interfere with the spokes but no problem at all. When releasing it does not also release a lot of air. OK. you will always get a small swoosh but unlike others it doesnt loose much pressure. Height - I am just over 6 ft tall and the height is just right - not overly hunching over when pumping. Base - just the right width provides a stable tripod like base when pumping and for foot location. And the pressure gauge is large, easy to read with good precision markings. Materials all look to be high quality. Overall very happy with purchase. Cannot comment on longevity. ... show more

  • Great Bike Pump for the Price
Color: Black Size: Large Style: Pump
I bought this pump to keep my kids' bike tires well inflated, and to also pump the odd sports ball from time to time. Hose Placement: The pump is reletively compact, and allows the hose to be draped over the top of the pump and secured to the sides, keeping the hose attached to the pump and reducing overall storage space. Pressure Dial: The large numbers on the dial are very easy to read, which allow the user to confidently tell how much air pressure is in the tire, to prevent over or under-inflation. The pressure dial is also quite sturdy. I've owned several bike pumps in the past, and the dials usually fail pretty quickly, so I've been really impressed with this Vibrelli pump's dial so far. I've owned it for 2 years, and the dial is still functioning without issue. Dual Valves: The hose can accommodate both schraeder and presta valves, which is a plus if you have both higher-end and Walmart-brand bikes. The hose also securely "locks" onto the valves during inflation which prevents it from popping off of the valve mid-inflation. Overall, I think that this is a solid and reliable air pump, and have had no issues with it so far. ... show more

  • Accurate and durable. Nice high-tech plastics used on this tire pump. Stylish.
Color: Black Size: Large Style: Pump
Overall rating: four stars. Accuracy: five stars (it's really pretty good, there). Easy to read: three (no better and no worse than my last built in tire pump gauge). Easy to use: three. Maybe two. But that's without comparison; in comparison to other units, probably threeish to fourish stars. They did a good job on the release lever, but it still takes a lot of hand strength to open and close it (and uncomfortable rotation of the hands and wrist to do it well). I put a knee against the rear tire, after rotating it towards my face (but a bit lower in angle; closer to horizontal than if directly facing). The angle is more dictated by where my knee is going. The idea is to keep the valve on the pump aligned perfectly to the valve stem of the inner tube, to preserve the life of the tube's stem. Tub stems are a common failure point; have ruined more than one tube by using a pump on them - would not call that 'misuse' so much as failure to adapt to conditions as they are found, rather than as they really should be. Tube manufacturers are not doing a good job at this; the pumps need to be redesigned for this reality, in this writer's opinion. ;) One of the two fittings (the grey one) unscrewed on its own, but was caught early. This is now something checked before every use. Air comes out the back end of the valve during seating, so cover that with a thumb until the lever/bail is thrown; once it is, this is not an issue. This might even be a feature, since it gives very positive feedback as to if the closure engaged (and opened the system to pumping. The alternative is to pump against only the pressure charge in the rubber hose, with the tube valve never having opened, after all). In that instance, the pressure rises very (very) fast with each stroke, so that's another giveaway. I don't remember any of these issues as a kid (in the 1960's) so really not sure what's going on, exactly. I think most of our pumps were thread-on fitted; these modern ones are quick-release; that may be the root of the issue. Sometimes the pump's fitting just doesn't open a valve; the previous pump used in the shop finally stopped opening valves at all reliably. This pump valve-closure fitting (with the blow-back feature I mentioned) at least gives you a chance to know that you've hit the sweet spot (on a Presta valve, which usually what I run, here; though I also run Schraeder, which has the delicate rubber valve stem issue, on those tubes). Would buy again (I seem to remember liking the price paid; long time ago; have been using this for quite some time, now - still works about as well as the first day it arrived here). I rarely stow the rubber hose on the provided clips. I seem to recall there are two of them (nice to have both). Used a red Sharpie <tm> to mark the gauge rim in two zones (one for 65 lb and one for 95 lb) so that I don't have to read the numbers on the dial - just watch the needle and the red markings I'd made. I'd say I already got my money's worth (in today's throw-away society) out of this pump - if it broke tomorrow I'd call it a fair exchange. Showing no signs of doing so; expect to get 5+ more years out of it. ... show more

  • Excellent bike pump, be careful with the plastic base while pumping
Color: Black Size: Large Style: Pump
As someone who has used the Vibrelli Bike Floor Pump with Gauge for several years now, I can confidently say that it is an excellent product. The pump is well-designed and easy to use, with a sturdy metal barrel and a clear and easy-to-read gauge. It also comes with a variety of adapters, making it compatible with a wide range of bike valves. I was initially concerned about the plastic base of the pump, but it held up well to regular use for about two years. However, with vigorous pumping, the base did eventually crack and break. Fortunately, Vibrelli's customer support was fantastic, and they promptly replaced the pump without any hassle or additional cost to me. Since receiving the replacement pump, I have had no issues with it whatsoever. It pumps up my bike tires quickly and easily, and the gauge allows me to get the perfect amount of pressure every time. The pump also has a long hose, which is great for inflating tires on bikes that are mounted on a repair stand. Overall, I highly recommend the Vibrelli Bike Floor Pump with Gauge. While the plastic base may be prone to breaking with heavy use, Vibrelli's excellent customer support makes this a non-issue. This is a high-quality product that has served me well over the years and is well worth the investment. ... show more
