I got this vibrating wrist watch because my audible phone alarms would wake up not just me, but also my wife. By having this watch on me, it vibrates my wrist and wakes me without waking her. This allows me to get up early without waking my wife or son in the next room. I typically wake before my watch goes off, but this gives me good peace of mind that my watch will wake me if I was still sleeping. The vibration is gentle and strong at the same time. If this things vibrations didn’t wake you, then you’re probably the same sort of person that could sleep through a fire alarm beeping a foot away from you for half a minute. This watch is not water proof so you can’t wear it swimming or in shower etc. but for my use just as a silent alarm that only wakes me individually, it works great. Seems like pretty solid quality for the price. Definitely a great purchase for me and I recommend to sometimes be else who may have a similar need . ... show more

SECOND UPDATE I give up. Company responded quickly and sent me a new watch swiftly when I emailed them on their website and sent proof of this purchase. Worked for a few weeks and has sprouted same problem. Don’t bother with this. UPDATED REVIEW 3 months on and the alarms will not show up when you press the left side button. Alarms were turned off for the weekend and no are not to be found. Emailed company on their website. I have low expectations they will replace or resolve. Very disappointed. Will see. —-//// original review after purchase. ////——- If you use G Shock watches this really isn’t that difficult to figure out how to set. Instructions were clear. Solid piece against wrist wakes me up with a strong vibration. Makes a good night light too—-very bright white light if you check the time. Great alternative alarm clock. That’s why I bought it. I recently bought a Watch that never did sync with the alarms on my Iphone. Because I was dissatisfied with that, I went looking and found this marvelous alarm Watch! For my work I require nine different alarms daily. This watch comes with ten alarm times available. It’s quiet so it does not disrupt my students. But the vibration is perfect to get my attention. The battery LASTS, so I don’t have to recharge often. Everybody thinks I’m wearing a Fitbit. It looks terrific with my black and silver jewelry! Overall, the watch is reasonably priced, bright and easily visible, very functional with 10 easily set up and quickly changeable alarms, with simple and effectively fast recharging capability. However, I routinely set six to ten alarms to ensure I wake up, and, on at least three occasions, the watch failed to provide significant vibration intensity sufficient to wake me, even though it was almost maximally charged. In general, a worthwhile and thoughtfully developed product, which only lacks significant vibration intensity to wake sound sleepers. To begin, I am a swimmer, gym enthusiast, teacher and early morning go getter. I really didn't want to keep sleeping next to my cell phone and waking my husband up 4-5 times a week with an obnoxious alarm at 5am was getting old (for both of us). I've tried a few of the expensive wrist watch alarms and they were either too loud or too bulky. I came across this on amazon and figured $20 was a good buy-to-try option. Man, this is the best thing I think I've ever bought on amazon-no kidding. It's very light weight, the rechargeable battery keeps its charge for weeks, and above all else, it works. I think they made this for someone who needs reminders to take medication or maybe drink water or whatever, but it's the perfect little wrist alarm that shakes you awake in an easy but steady way. The watch vibrates anywhere from 40-20 seconds, depending on the alarm order. The first alarm you set is the longest vibration. It's not loud or painful or annoying, just kind of shakes you out of sleep in a quiet but assertive way. It isn't cute, even in the all black. The light is BRIGHT. It took me some time to figure out how to set the watch, but once you figure it out, it's easy and straight forward. My husband does not wake up when my alarm goes off. It's a game changer-get it. 10 out of 10. Other reviews have said water ruins it immediately-I can see how that would be the case-so I've been very careful to keep it clear of water. I bought this product thinking it would be more useful. Not understanding how to program it, it now goes off at random times that were set trying to figure out how to switch between each alarm. On a time scale that is incorrect which on a full battery has been over 30 days of 10 scheduled high intensity vibrations that I can't turn off or stop and will continue every 5 min if you try. I pray for the day the battery will die and I can start from the initial settings. ... show more

I purchased this product for use by my mother. She has problems with short term memory and doesn't always remember to take her pills. This unit vibrates perfectly to notify her it's time for her next pill. She has to take pills at certain intervals throughout the day and the different alarms are perfect for that.
