Very nice basic watch with time and alarms, just what I was looking for. It is very comfortable to wear, and has great battery life. One thing they need to do is round both top edges, it keeps catching/jamming on shirt and jacket sleeves (a bit of a pain). But overall it's very good.

I got this vibrating wrist watch because my audible phone alarms would wake up not just me, but also my wife. By having this watch on me, it vibrates my wrist and wakes me without waking her. This allows me to get up early without waking my wife or son in the next room. I typically wake before my watch goes off, but this gives me good peace of mind that my watch will wake me if I was still sleeping. The vibration is gentle and strong at the same time. If this things vibrations didn’t wake you, then you’re probably the same sort of person that could sleep through a fire alarm beeping a foot away from you for half a minute. This watch is not water proof so you can’t wear it swimming or in shower etc. but for my use just as a silent alarm that only wakes me individually, it works great. Seems like pretty solid quality for the price. Definitely a great purchase for me and I recommend to sometimes be else who may have a similar need . ... show more

SECOND UPDATE I give up. Company responded quickly and sent me a new watch swiftly when I emailed them on their website and sent proof of this purchase. Worked for a few weeks and has sprouted same problem. Don’t bother with this. UPDATED REVIEW 3 months on and the alarms will not show up when you press the left side button. Alarms were turned off for the weekend and no are not to be found. Emailed company on their website. I have low expectations they will replace or resolve. Very disappointed. Will see. —-//// original review after purchase. ////——- If you use G Shock watches this really isn’t that difficult to figure out how to set. Instructions were clear. Solid piece against wrist wakes me up with a strong vibration. Makes a good night light too—-very bright white light if you check the time. Great alternative alarm clock. That’s why I bought it. I’m a light sleeper. Still testing though I think it will be fine. (Update: it’s fine! My new alarm clock!) Tired of annoying alarm sounds? Get this $20 vibrating watch! 1 MONTH UPDATE - It has just stopped working. Only some of the alarms go off now. I have one set every 15 min from 6am - 8am. The 6am will go off but it won’t go off again till the 6:45am one. The 6:15 and 6:30 just don’t work. There’s no snooze which was fine at first but you can only set so many alarms and again half of them won’t go off. The vibration pattern needs to be able to change. Your brain gets used to it and you don’t wake up anymore. Charge still lasts for weeks which is good but again useless if the alarms aren’t going off. I wake up about 3 hours before my partner does in the morning and before I was using my phone alarm which was not only jarring to wake up to, but was waking him up well before he needed to be awake. Bought this to maybe see if it would solve the issue and it did! The vibrations aren’t ridiculously strong but I’m a light sleeper so it’s no issue for me. It wakes me up and he doesn’t even hear it at all. Only problems with it is that it was a little complicated at first to learn how to set but with instructions it wasn’t bad. And the clasp can be uncomfortable depending on how you sleep. When worn the traditional way the clasp digs into my wrist because of how I sleep. So I just turned it around so the vibrating part is touching my inner wrist and that seemed to solve the problem mostly. I would like a band that didn’t have a traditional watch clasp on it and with either a stretch band or the button clasp (like on some Apple Watch bands) ... show more

It does exactly as advertised. Vibration is at a nice level, easy to feel, enough to wake me up, but not very loud or noticeable to people nearby. Setting the time/alarms is a little bit tedious, but it's understandable for having only two buttons. The watch is charged with a USB port which is covered by the silicone band, prtecting it from rain, but it probably won't tolerate being submerged. I only wear mine for sleeping so not a problem. Had to open it up to troubleshoot. The board is based around a cheap microcontroller (4 yuan ≈ 50 cents). You could probably make something like this on your own for cheaper than the listed price using similar materials. While it worked, it had great battery life, and good vibration strength. Unfortunately, it’s not waterproof. The white LEDs are really bright - it would be nice to use red ones to mimic traditional 7-segment look. A diffuser could also mitigate the problem by evenly spreading the brightness (currently the plastic strap acts as a diffuser, but not a stellar one.) ... show more
