Y’all ready for a real review? Let’s go. Okay so background: I go to concerts about every week. Denver is wild. Anyway, I needed a good pair and I’ve done some researching and tried a few brands out. I’ve used Eargasm, Earaser, and of course, Vibes. Here’s my breakdown: Earaser- very comfortable. Worked well for a while, but my issue was the durability. After about 3-6 months of use, I went to take my earplugs out and the filter came right out of the dang thing. Probably the most invisible out of the 3. (Rank #2) Eargasm- oof. Most uncomfortable of the 3 hands down. The hype was all around me. I hear about this brand all the time and figured I’d spend the $45-$50 for them. Tried them on at home and couldn’t go more than 5min due to how uncomfortable they were. It was a big let down. Had to return right away. (Rank #3) So I decided on vibes next…. Vibes- Here we are. These bad boys work so well. The round tip fits the ear very well and I don’t feel any sound “leak through”. They’re easy to take out and they filter the sound so so well. Comfort was a huge thing for me. I wear earplugs at music festivals for several hours so I needed something I could tolerate all day. I forgot these were in for a while. Now, earplugs are going to make conversations a little harder no matter what. That means they’re working. But these have been the biggest game changer for me. I suffer from tinnitus so I was desperate to find a pair that wouldn’t make my condition worse. After shows my ears don’t ring like they used to. I still have ringing but that’s the tinnitus working overtime, not from the show I was just at. Shoutout Vibes, these are the best, especially for the price. I am a very picky person when it comes to products like this. I read reviews for hours before I make a decision (I probably have an issue). Whether its to a spin class, concert or even a club. These earplugs are amazing. You can still hear everything and theyre so comfortable, I love the variety of sizes you can install on them to fit into your ear. Definitely worth buying, protect your hearing!

Edit: 7/23/24 The seller sent me a refund as the ear plugs were defective. Good customer service. 7/18/24 This is the second time I’ve purchased. The 1st time I used them for a year without issues. Liked the fit and how they reduced live band volume for dancing, but probably not the best for loud concerts. Then one plug fell out while dancing and couldn’t find it bc it was clear. This time purchased the blue ones in case it fell out, would be easier to see. Did not fall out, but noticed today both are cracked. Defective or old since have been careful to always leave in the case and have not dropped. ... show more

I have bought 3 pairs of these. They are fantastic for concerts and festivals! They're discreet but also work really well. You can hear the music and people talking clearly but it makes it so your ears Don hurt and your hearing isn't damaged

I work at quite a few concerts. Prior to buying these, I used the inexpensive foam earplugs that make hearing anything impossible. These do a fabulous job eliminating the noise while allowing important sounds to be heard. They don't look like much but they work.

This may just be a unit variance issue, but I’ve had my set for just a month and they seem to have failed me (I’m 3 days outside of the return window, go figure). I fit right in between the medium and large set of tips and decided to give the medium a second chance in hopes to reduce the small amount of fatigue I was experiencing in my ear canals after all-day use. After changing the tips I noticed a reduction in how well the one side was performing. Thinking it was due to the tips I went to swap them back, and the moment I began pulling off the tip, the inner portion slipped right out. It looks it had cracked on the outer shell, breaking the seal and allowing the inner piece to easily move. It’s concerning to see that the plastic failed long before the soft silicone did (although that may actually be a good sign for the durability of the tips that are used with this). Unfortunately, I won’t be able to continue using this unit with any confidence due to rigorous workplace safety requirements, despite being pleased with the comfort and how well they performed. -2 stars due to durability, but 5 stars for performance and comfort otherwise. ... show more

    • AMAZING FOR MISOPHONIA - Specifically chewing/crinkle triggers

I don't know why I have held off writing this review for so long but I have pretty severe misophonia when it comes to chewing/crinkle noises. Severe to the point of breakdowns in restaurants or with significant others family (think Christmas Vacation dinner scene.. ugh!). My ears will even trigger in on something from across the room and then it is all I can hear. It is so frustrating and embarrassing and really disruptive to normal life experiences. Headphones with white noise in background have helped but those are not always practical. These little things help reduce those background noise/triggers for me TREMENDOUSLY! I can now sit on the couch next to my boyfriend as he eats carrots, crunchy tacos, kettle cooked chips, chicken (that weird clickly-sound.. am I right??) and survive! Because of the design, it lets me hold conversation or listen to a movie while blocking out the other stuff.. That being said, subtitles help in those moments bc the sound can be somewhat muted and especially if you are eating too, it will amplify the internal chewing sounds, but thankfully that doesn't bother me b/c miso > OCD > etc. I keep a pair on me at all times attached to my keychain and a pair next to my spot on the couch for quick access.
