My 5 and 8 years old both like this flakes. It comes out a instruction and easy to follow. Kids can also use their imagination to build up different design. I probably need to buy more flakes later.

I originally bought these for my daughters 3rd birthday back in 2017. It’s been almost two years since then and they are still a favorite for my daughter and also my son who is 9. These flakes have staying power and promote creativity. I’m writing this review at almost 12 am and the photos I’ve submitted were taken today after a long day of my kids playing. These flakes are almost a daily toy for them. Have I gotten my money’s worth? Absolutely. Are they easy to play with, assemble, and versatile for all ages? Yes, Yes, and yes. I have children with four years in between them. My daughter was 3, my son was 7 back then and they have played with them ever since. Are they giftable? I did purchase them for a birthday and I would do it again for a birthday or Christmas. Have I stepped on them while assembled and does it hurt? I have and they do indeed hurt. But I’ve also stepped on them when they’re disassembled and just lying around and they don’t hurt like legos do. Point is, they are well worth it if the kids in mind like to build things. ... show more

We’ve had one set of these for 5 years. My 8 and 10 year old girls want another set because 500 isn’t enough haha. They are high quality and an excellent activity.

Sturdy, colorful, easy to create and disassemble. Storage containers great for durable storage. Recommend one complete set per child playing to let them really use their imagination.
