This paint sprays on very nicely. However, I was disappointed in the color match. I'm sure I have the right color (Honda Alibaster Silver), and the area I was painting was at the very bottom of the rear bumper, so little chance that the original paint had faded or anything. The Dupli-Color is noticeably darker. It's not a big deal given where the repair is, and certainly better than the very-visible 5 inch scrape, which went to black plastic. However, if used on a more obvious location on the car, I'd be very hesitant to use it. ... show more

The color for this matched my silver Honda well. I had no problems with the cans, just make sure to wipe the nib every once in a while as there can be a little buildup that'll drip or spray larger dabs onto you paint job. To get an estimate of how much you may need, my front bumper took about 2 1/2 cans of color and the same for gloss. ... show more

Very disappointed with the poor color match of this paint. Others seem to have been happy with the match, maybe I got a bad batch? It is a match for the paint code for my car and the cap is a perfect match. I used the dupli color primer and the paint is noticeably too dark and a poor match. I should point out that I also purchased a pre painted front and back bumper for the car using the paint codes and they are perfect matches, so I will not buy any claim that my paint must have faded. ... show more

Paint was a match for my car, unfortunately the tip was defective & caused the can to spray droplets while I was using it. Luckily I had an older spray can from a previous job & used that tip to finish the job with no droplets. The can also seemed to be less filled than a previous one that I owned, because I was barely able to finish a single panel, while my other can finished 3 panels.     • Good color match, clogs too easily
I was only able to use half of the can before the can clogged irreparably. The color matched very closely to the car I was repairing which was nice. Unfortunately, I had to obtain a second can from the auto parts store and the repair looked a bit funny due to not being able to maintain a "wet edge" and exceeding the recoating time due to can failure. ... show more

    • Good color match, nozzle tends to clog after about 50% use
Needed to paint my Honda Accord hood and trunk due to bad paint job after a rear end collision. Decided to DIY it after watching some online videos. I paired the paint with Duplicolor primer and clear coat. Results turned out okay. Be careful that the nozzle starts to get clogged up after a bit of use, and the paint starts becoming splotchy. The can works the best when upright in order to give an even coat. Follow the Duplicolor videos online for recommendations for good results.     • Doesn't match exactly
I've used other spray can paints before that were mix to order and matched perfectly but the Dupli-color doesn't match very well. I can still see the difference in shade from 100ft away I can't really blend it in to the original paint, if I was painting the entire panel it might be passable but for spot work I'd find something else. It was much cheaper than the other spray can paints I've use which are around $40 so if you're not looking for perfection Dupli-color might be good enough. ... show more
