The left door does closes fine on its own, but not when closed over the right door, which it has to, because the latch is on the left side. The latch holds the top closed but the bottom sticks out half an inch and lets a bunch of hot air out. And the whole thing has a sticky white coating that goes under the bolts and cant be completely removed. The manual is also terrible, not that it really matters given the other deficiencies. ... show more

Like all of the other reviewers have said the plastic coating that they put on this is ridiculous. It is a pain in the neck to get off. They put rivets over the top of the plastic, so no matter how hard you try it will have plastic left on it. In addition, it is a bizarre size. It fits a half size pan perfectly with tons of space all around it.. With that being said it is a great deal of wasted space because of the size you cannot fit 2 1/2 pans nor can you fit a full pan. Unfortunately, they do not sell three-quarter size. Disposable pans. And less space is a huge concern for you. This machine is really a waste. Step up and buy the next bigger machine. That's what I just did and waiting for it to be delivered. Their shipping process makes about as much sense as their plastic wrap process does. I purchased the product it was picked up in San Bernardino, CA and shipped to Katy Texas. Now it's being shipped back to Corona, CA. When it could've gone directly from San Bernardino to Corona within a day. ... show more

As many others have already stated, the plastic shrink wrap is annoying and time-consuming to remove. I already knew that going in. It’s the inside of the warmer that I didn’t expect. It is very, very dirty. I’ve attached a pic of the cloth that I used to clean just the INSIDE of the warmer, the other side of the rag is equally dirty. Very concerning, especially for an item that is designed to hold food. I’ve ordered handtools that arrived cleaner than this food warmer. After a few hours of removing the plastic and cleaning the inside of this biohazard, I kicked off a test run at 140°. The food warmer held the temp very well over the course of a couple hours, I suppose that’s the most important part. Vevor could do quite a bit to improve the delivery and presentation of their products. ... show more

    • Changes the game in my outdoor kitchen!

We entertain a lot. When doing BBQ I like to finish early, let the meat rest for an extended time. I use to use a cooler but you can’t control the temperature inside the cooler snd a lot of time the meat got overdone. Now I cook and put the food in the warmer at a controlled temp and just have to cut and serve when guests arrive. A game changer for me, now I can enjoy the party. Side note, even works well for fried food. I fry, then put French Fries etc on a sheet pan with a wire rack in the warmer. Not as good as fresh fried but a very close second. Enjoy! ... show more

smoked a 16 lb. brisket for 22 hours, rested it in the warmer for 12 hours... got to rest, shower, cook all of the sides and rest them as well, all before guests arrived, the Vevor did not disappoint, serious game changer, complements all around.
